Pulse Oximetry
The above test is done with the well-known oximeter, just place the oximeter on your finger.
Within a few seconds, the oximeter will measure your pulse and the oxygen saturation of hemoglobin (SpO2).
Basic conditions for a reliable measurement are that you have not smoked in the last hour, additionally, the nail should not be painted, the fingers should be clean, and not after intense physical exercise.
For use, the middle finger is recommended due to the larger application surface on the reading sensor.

I bought it for personal use, as it is now an essential accessory during the covid era. It seems to have accurate measurements and the construction appears to be of high quality. The company is well-known and I had noticed it with private doctors.
Accuracy in measurements, cross-checked with a medical monitor in the hospital.
It was also compared to other oximeters, proving that they are useless for any measurement, unlike this specific product, whose measurements matched those of the monitor throughout the entire useful range of measurements (from 75% oxygen saturation of the patient to 99%).
This specific oximeter seems to be of good quality construction. It shows 1 unit of oxygen lower compared to another home use oximeter that I have.
Also, pay attention to battery placement. Until now, all devices I have used that require batteries expect the (-) of the battery to be on the side with the spring. In this specific oximeter, one battery must be placed with the (+) on the spring!
My parents have been using it frequently for over 1 year. The battery is ok and the device works immediately and satisfactorily. I think it's worth the money.
It is the 4th oximeter I have purchased and it is the only one that shows accurate measurements even in children (4 years old) with a little careful finger placement. It is relatively expensive but for me, it was worth it because of the child.
I bought it to monitor oxygen saturation after a serious health issue and hospitalization. Its measurements are accurate, the same as those from a pulmonologist (+-1). It is easy to use. You simply place your finger, stay still, press the button, and wait a few seconds for the waveform to stabilize. It has an indication for measurement error (question mark "?" instead of the battery indicator). It turns off automatically after removing the finger. It has instructions in Greek and the display indications are legible. I also consider this company reliable, judging from the blood pressure monitor I have had for years.
Quite reliable pulse oximeter, quality construction at a relatively good price.
It measures oxygen, heart rate, PI, and shows the waveform of the heart. It has a battery indicator and turns off automatically after measurement.
So far, with professional use (in the pocket at the hospital for quick measurements), it has been excellent. It has proven to be durable and quite accurate.
Excellent machine! I bought it for home use, especially because of Covid 19. Its measurements are generally accurate, although sometimes it shows slightly lower oxygen levels by 1-2 units than the actual ones. However, the measurement of heart rate is excellent. As for the construction, it is a bit narrow and may be difficult for someone with thicker fingers. Nevertheless, it is a reliable choice. I would buy it again.
After 5 years, the numbers appear faint, with brightness at 10 (full). At night, it's okay, you can see something, but during the day, nothing at all.
Nevertheless, the indications are quite reliable, for as long as it lasted... That's why I'm giving it a second star...
28/12/22: I don't have anything to compare it to another oximeter, so take my words with a grain of salt, but so far it's working fine. I have no complaints. I hope it doesn't show below 95-96% oxygen because that could be a problem. If needed, I will come back.
This specific oximeter is very good, I say this because I bought another one from a pharmacy for 30 euros, from a well-known company.
We have had this for 2 years, it works very well. In my sitting position, I have 98 oxygen and 85 pulses or 74 accordingly. (And with the use of cortisone, it reaches 100 oxygen and 78 pulses).
While with the other one, it is so fake and plastic, after going through Covid for 2 weeks, it showed 94 oxygen and 68 pulses for everyone, it showed the same. So when I saw that I can buy it again from here at this amazing price, I got excited. Because they bought this specific one for 30 euros from a supermarket and yet it does the same job, very good, well done.
Hello..after 1 month of daily morning use, and verified by a doctor, the deviations are > oxygen + or - 1 to 2%, and blood pressure + or - 5 to 8%, at the exact same moments...time will tell..the conclusions are yours..initial estimation= I consider it, very expensive for what it offers..
Due to covid, I proceeded to purchase this specific oximeter. It shows good results so far and the measurements do not differ from another borrowed one I had. It is a good purchase, but keep in mind that there are also more affordable options that may be equally valuable.
It shows reliability as I measured my father's oxygen a few days after the doctor had measured it and it was at the same level. Its operation is simple. Very useful for those who have lung issues, rapid heartbeat.
Update: During a visit of my father's pulmonologist at home, I compared the result of our oximeter with that of the expensive professional portable oximeter of the doctor. We had a two-unit deviation in our measurements, which were taken with a very small time difference. As he told me, this is an expected difference. And with the same oximeter, if I repeat the measurement twice, I get values with a deviation of 1-2%.
Therefore, I consider it reliable, value for money, but when I take the measurement and see a borderline result, I always keep in mind that there is a possibility of a 1-2 unit deviation and I am on alert!
It takes a while to stabilize and show a number for pulse and oxygen. At first, it fluctuates by 2 to 3 degrees. But then it shows the correct result. It is not suitable for children. I tried it on my little one who is 20 months old and it didn't show any result. It didn't fit well because it has small fingers.
I would give it 4 stars only because the measurement that the doctor did with his own thermometer when I went, probably more expensive, showed 98 while with this one I never had above 97. But if that was the only reason for 4 stars, I would be unfair.. So, 5 stars.
Three years warranty while others have less.

I had found it around 27 euros, but by the time I made up my mind, the price within a few days due to the demand in the market for pulse oximeters went up to 40 euros and above.
Bought a few months ago for occasional use, it has been used relatively few times. I cannot have an opinion on the accuracy of the oxygen percentage, but it seems to measure the pulse well. Practical to use. For battery life and durability, it will take a little more time before I can say anything.
It seems like a quality device. It is not used frequently, so I don't have an opinion on the battery yet. The measurements also appear to be accurate (compared to a reliable blood pressure measuring device). I think it's worth the money.
How reliable it is, I don't know because I have nothing to compare it to, but I trusted the good reviews of other users and bought it. I can't understand how such a product comes without its case, when even cheap Chinese ones are always sold with a case. Serious company Medisana, asking for 42 euros and more and not even giving a one euro case.
