Well, I have had the headphones for 3 weeks now, I didn't do an immediate review, I was waiting for the right moment, I wanted to have a good opinion. I was one of the first to buy them in Greece. I got them for €90 on day 1. I was eagerly waiting for them, I wanted to get the 5 Pro but I said wait a bit for the 6 to come out. And in the end, it was worth the wait because when I tried them, I was blown away. Where to start, I don't know. The sound is truly CRAZY, I have never heard better music, with these headphones I heard sounds in songs that I have never heard before. The bass is excellent too, regarding this, when you take the headphones, I don't know if it happens with other brands, but on Xiaomi phones, it automatically opens the LDAC Audio, which is essentially a codec that is said to offer better sound quality. Personally, it didn't work for me. It significantly reduces the bass and I don't find anything better in the sound, it also doesn't let you use spatial audio and track head movement. I turned it off. I enabled Spatial Audio and I was also blown away, along with track head movement it feels like you're at a concert with surround sound. Track head movement tracks your head, meaning when you move it, and keeps the sound stable in the middle, if you turn your head from one direction the opposite earbud will play louder than the other, it does this in a very realistic way, if you're standing and making circles you'll notice it. Now for those who go to the gym or outside, the headphones have Active Noise Cancellation at an extreme level I can say, it reduces at least 80% of external noise, it also has an automatic feature that adjusts the headphones according to the environment, with this you also save a bit on battery. The fit in the ear is flawless, on the treadmill I was worried and thought they would fall out but they didn't, they stay in place very well. I will also mention the negative aspect that the headphones have and it might bother a lot of people, it is the... Battery. If you have spatial audio and noise cancellation on, it drains the battery. I haven't measured hours but it's significantly worse than my previous Redmi Buds 3 Pro. However, I am satisfied, I have no issue.
Conclusion: Excellent headphones in every way, I was left speechless, even €90 is worth it for me. They easily compare with Airpods. Just be a little careful with the battery, it runs out somewhat quickly...
I have been a owner of this product for a week. I really expected more from the new Redmi bugs 6 Pro series and most importantly, I expected greater battery life, which claimed to last 9.5 hours with noise cancellation off and 6 hours if it is on. I conducted the test and it lasts 5 hours of standby and 4 hours of active use in continuous music playback in both cases. Their battery life is very little?
