A thaumaturge simultaneously bears a gift and a burden. This parallel applies to Wiktor Szulski, the titular protagonist of the game, who returns to the tumultuous streets of Warsaw.

This secret legacy significantly determines the course of Wiktor's life as he observes otherworldly entities and their hosts.

For only a thaumaturge can tame these ethereal entities, known to few as greeters, using his secret abilities to reveal secrets hidden in the human soul and converse with the Darkness.
