  I have the same one without the saw, I bought it in '86 in Thessaloniki, the only thing that happened is that the logo has disappeared and the red plastic of the handle has faded, other than that nothing else, excellent... And the good thing is you can have it on you in the car and no one will say anything to you!!

  Apart from its incredible build quality (solid in the hand but not annoyingly heavy and cumbersome to carry daily), as for its cutting ability, I am mostly afraid that I might cut myself (inexperienced user of knives) rather than it not being able to cut anything.

  Let me tell you, I have had this particular model since 1989 (back then without tweezers and toothpick). With proper maintenance, it has not lost its edge on any of the two blades, although half of them remain from use. The only thing that has worn out is the logo (literally melted). It was my first one, I have 12 others but this one is my everyday companion. After the blades, I use the incredible saw a lot. EXCELLENT!!!

  I forgot to tell you that when I bought it, I read the accompanying brochure and laughed at the term "lifetime warranty". 32 years later, at 52 years old, I remember it and still laugh, but with bitterness because the years have passed...

  I have several Swiss Victorinox multitools, and the Camper was one of the very good medium-sized models. All products of the company have only positive aspects as they are incredibly practical and cleverly designed with top quality.

  In the Camper, we have:
  -> very practical and relatively lightweight (around 100 grams) that should be included in a kit with various items that we carry in our everyday EDC (Every Day Carry) bag, especially for camping, etc.
  -> it has a large and a small blade that are sharp like razors (20-degree perfectly sharpened edge for general cutting), they have endless applications.
  -> it has a high-quality wood saw that easily cuts woods and branches of similar sizes.
  -> it has a bottle opener that can also be used as a straight screwdriver and wire stripper.
  -> it also has a can opener that has a small straight screwdriver at its tip.
  -> it has a corkscrew that also has many applications if you exhaust your creativity.
  -> it has a very sharp awl that also has a hole for sewing something with fiber threads, and it also has many applications.
  -> it has stainless steel tweezers and a toothpick (better not to use it in the mouth) for other uses.
  -> if you want to upgrade it, you can buy a screwdriver for glasses for 0.50€, which fits into the corkscrew, something that the more expensive models like the Swiss Champ have. The Camper may not have the above tools/components compared to more expensive models like the Huntsman, the Ranger, the Handyman, and the extreme Swiss Champ for 90€, but it has what you need, the essentials for camping, in minimal volume and weight, and with the best value for money in terms of capabilities.
  -> it is easy to use and practical, and I believe it has enough capabilities for the average user to cope with in the countryside or camping.
  -> although Greek legislation is strict and strange with everything, it is better when you have it on you to be somewhere where it could be used as a tool, e.g., in camping, or to say that it is a camping multitool and not a knife to justify the reason why you have it on you during a police check. In other countries, they wouldn't have an issue, but here it is Greece...
  -> compact and high-quality construction, which all Victorinox multitools have, using the X55CrMo14 stainless steel that is rustproof and has a hardness of 56-58, which is suitable for high-quality multitools with a lifetime warranty. For intensive and tough use, you will wear it out quickly, and it will need sharpening afterward (which is easily done on this steel without much effort compared to other steels). Survival knives have carbon steel that maintains its edge in more cuts compared to plain stainless steels, but it has other disadvantages.

  I am very satisfied with my purchase because even though it may seem to have a high price (I bought it for 28€), it is worth what you pay for. The company has created the most perfect and well-crafted multitools worldwide. It is better to pay for something that you will have forever and will last, rather than Chinese imitations for 5€ that may provide multitools but are of poor quality (loose joints, don't cut, rust, etc. within the first week of use).

  Perhaps the best multitool from Victorinox (price/tools ratio). Excellent construction quality. It has the appropriate tools as well as a convenient size/weight for urban EDC and nature excursions, e.g. ideal for a small survival kit. In the corkscrew, you can add the Victorinox mini screwdriver.
