Well my choice is specifically for summer use and for 17 euros I will be happy. I have a reinforced hood with fur inside and leather outside for winter use, which did its job perfectly during the winter and kept my engine in excellent condition from rain, humidity, and snow. It would be silly to let the sun destroy it in the summer, so this is practical, cheap, lightweight, and will not be damaged by the wind, at most it might tear. 17 euros with quality equal to some others I bought earlier for 30 or 40 euros and did not last for 6 months. The engine is a cb500x model 23 and fits very snugly without a case! It does not fit with a case.

It is not 100% waterproof.. after yesterday's rain, I saw that the bike underneath was wet.
Also, I bought the largest size for Varadero 1000 and it floats. It only has one clip at the back, but nothing in the front, only rubber!!! With a lot of wind, it took it and lifted it up!!!

I got it as a gift for my dad after many mixed reviews. It's VALUE FOR MONEY!!! Does it blow? It doesn't move at all! It keeps the bike clean when it's not used daily, and we already have plans to buy a second one for our other bike.

The fact that the texture of the hood is thin is not a negative. Indeed, the material resembles that of an umbrella & is 100% waterproof. It is lightweight & therefore very easy to handle. Lightweight hood with rings to tie it down on both elastics if it’s very windy. The fact that it is lightweight helps with daily use. It is not fully waterproof when the rain is heavy for a long time and consequently leaves a damp surface on the machine, similar to how a slightly wet towel leaves a mark when you place it on a surface and then lift it. In light rain for a short time, there is no such issue.

Size XXL: It was installed on a T-MAX 500 2008 and fully covers the scooter without dragging. In Kawasaki Z750 S, the size XL is literally just right. Although the size chart indicates that it is larger than the dimensions of this specific bike. Especially at the mirrors, it seems to be fully stretched. In a hood from another company, I went for XXL and it was much larger. Here, the XL is tight; logically, I should have gone for 2XL. I have a Trk 500. I bought the XXL but it doesn't cover the engine all the way down. It seems relatively quality. I was disappointed in the rain. I left it outside (it rained a lot) all night and the next day the whole bike was soaked. It took in a lot of water. I wouldn't buy it again.

I needed to buy this specific cover to protect the machine from the sun and salt (since I work on the beach). Although it does a great job with the salt even in strong winds where everything falls apart, it's not the best when it comes to the sun, probably because of the color (as black absorbs radiation). Even though the machine is fully covered, when it's time to drive after 8 hours of practically being exposed outdoors, my thighs burn when they touch the tank as if I weren't even wearing the cover, or even worse. Now, if it's waterproof, I don't know because I haven't tried to wet it, and it hasn't rained at all while I've had it. However, it is definitely an economical choice, and for that, I give it 4 stars
