Walter Puchner has been and continues to be an exemplary academic teacher, who created students, maintaining and still maintaining a hardworking hive around him. He managed to inspire young people, to find worthy collaborators who today set the tone and guarantee continuity.
Rarely can one find concentrated the characteristics and qualities that distinguish this personality, such as the fortunate meeting of culture with general concern, high scientific performance with humanism, because Walter Puchner remains practical in his scientific achievements, yet a humanist with deep humanistic education.
"The empty view of the future must be filled with utopias," he tells us, as a pioneer and visionary, with genuine love for the University and his fellow humans in a sample of another of his pursuits, that of poetry.
