For the first time in the series, the hunter is accompanied on this journey by a colorful team of characters, including a palico, the Handler Alma, the trusty smithy Gemma, and the mysterious child Nata. Together, the team ventures into an unexplored new area where surprises await around every corner.
• A Living World – The Forbidden Lands span multiple habitats with dynamic identities, such as the Cloudless Spaces and the Red Forest, where ecosystems alternate between vibrant life-filled seasons and barren climates where monsters struggle for limited resources. Changes in the landscape will affect the creatures living there and force hunters to adapt.
• New Monsters and Wildlife – Monster Hunter Wilds features a variety of new creatures, from herds of small species to large monsters – some of which roam the Forbidden Lands in packs. Every creature hunters encounter in the wild has carved out a specific niche in its ecosystem and features unique attacks and behaviors. Players can also now ride the Seikret, a nimble new steed that allows hunters to traverse rugged terrain, sharpen weapons on the move, and switch between two weapons during hunts!
