The sauté pan from Izzy, thanks to its high walls, can be used as a deep frying pan as well as a pot. This allows you to cook on the stovetop dishes that you previously made exclusively in the oven. It is made of stainless steel, a material that makes it particularly resistant to high temperatures. Stainless steel sauté pans heat up very quickly and can retain heat for longer compared to aluminum sauté pans. We recommend choosing this sauté pan if you want to cook 2-4 servings of food.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I have it since May and I am satisfied with everything except for the fact that the bottom does not touch well on ceramic-induction stoves. It is crooked and I have even changed 2 utensils from the dealership and so far I have returned them all, but now I am tired of the procedures. The lid is also crooked.
Apart from that, you can cook with one utensil that does it all.
You can sauté, boil, and bake.
First of all, I have to say that it shouldn't be in the frying pans category but in the shallow pots category, because it is a shallow pot regardless of whether someone can use the utensil as a sauté pan.
So, with a useful capacity of 5 liters, with engraving even, with an external diameter of the spout of 28 cm and a bottom of 27 cm and a height of exactly 11 cm, it is a shallow pot with multiple uses. You can sauté, cook, and even put it in the oven.
A versatile utensil, very lightweight, which works perfectly on induction hobs due to the steel, and in general, no one will be dissatisfied with its purchase.
The lid has ventilation holes or for pouring and removing liquids without the need to move them. Of course, it is crooked and does not fit well on the mouth of the utensil, but this does not significantly affect its function.
Pay attention to the handles where high temperature develops when it is on the stove for a while because they burn. For the oven, I don't even discuss it, silicone oven mitts are mandatory.
P.S. A big downside is the crooked bottom that does not make good contact on flat hobs. In fact, the customer service responded that the "play" of the utensil is within normal limits! Hahaha, what can you say after that!
Recent purchase (not even a month), but I cook daily in it and have used it in every way. As a frying pan, as a sauté pan, as a pot, as a casserole dish.
If the food doesn't have enough liquids, it's logical for the food to stick. And even if you have a non-stick utensil, the same thing happens.
The fact that it's all stainless steel means that it can safely go in the dishwasher at high temperatures without fear, although if you add water while it's still hot (or pour hot water with a little soap), everything softens and comes off very easily.
It has been incredibly convenient because you can sauté the vegetables and meat, add water, cover it, and put it in the oven. You can make ground meat, put it in a plate or bowl, boil pasta, and it's ready. Today I made pizzas in it! One utensil for everything!
The holes in the lid are not only useful for draining pasta. It properly ventilates the food during boiling on the stovetop and in the oven.
It's a bit heavy and inconvenient for some who are less strong, but it's not difficult to use.
It's perfect!
