Very little for 8GB of RAM, the battery is at acceptable levels, but if a user wants it because it is large in size, which makes its use much easier, and I am referring to users with vision issues (due to age, for example), it is a must. It performs everything you ask of it with relatively acceptable speed. Now, you can certainly play games with some concessions, but in terms of gaming, the battery does not last beyond a day and a bit. However, let's not forget the purchase cost, so compromises will necessarily have to be made. Prefer the 8GB 256; otherwise, you will experience the known Xiaomi stutters if you get the 4GB. But this is judged by each person according to their requirements and the cost they can or want to allocate. In conclusion, it is not bad, but neither is it good; something in between, yes, and that's it. Find a case to prevent the cameras from getting scratched, as it is all plastic except for the screen
Some changes in the software I didn't like compared to the old one, but again some other things are better, for its price it's very good, I got it for 130 but it has been lower as well
For the money, it is perfect!!! Satisfactory in every use! Whoever wants something better, just spend a little more money...
Former owner of the Xiaomi Redmi 8 Pro 6/64. I have the 8/256 version. I've had it for 10 days and in terms of performance, nothing bothers me at all. It opens everything quickly and effortlessly. It doesn't lag anywhere and generally for daily use on social media, it seems very decent and just as fast as the 8 Pro. Its battery is better and with normal internet usage, it personally lasts me 2 days without saving mode. The only downside is the size which does not allow for one-handed use. And the rear camera which, due to its design, has a bulge of astronomical dimensions. As for build quality, it is sturdy and the fingerprint sensor on the unlock button has personally been very convenient for me. Clearly, if you are looking for something for heavy gaming, you would look in another category with a larger budget, but for the €180 I got it for, I consider it very decent.
Value for money if you know which category you are in. Battery is very satisfactory, video and photo quality are average but acceptable for its value. It has a very nice design but is large in size for those who may be looking for smaller dimensions. Recommended only for light use, especially for gaming with high demands
An affordable phone for basic use of Viber, WhatsApp, and social apps, and normal browsing with satisfactory battery life. I have no expectations for video/photo at this cost. Recommended for people looking for typical use at a low price. Prefer the 8/258 version to avoid issues with app lag.
Quite a good phone for purchase at €100-130, excellent screen. The photos and videos are as expected, they are okay in light and lose quality in the dark. Battery lasts normally a day (not for gaming). Inside the box, there is no charger, only the cable. VFM!!
A new phone usually has the previous one "for breakfast." With my Redmi 14C, I miss... my ancient Redmi Note 7! It doesn't have the essential tool "eraser" for local photo correction (the Note 7 had it!) Restarting the new Redmi 14C - you can manage to get a pension before it opens. It freezes on some sites just like an old phone. On one hand - it's not expensive at €160, on the other hand - it's not worth the money because in some aspects it's worse than the decade-old Redmi Note 7!
Very large screen, with a leatherette back. It needs a protective glass on the back with the cameras while the front already had one in the package. A charger is not included, only the cable. There is no silicone case in the package. Overall, for a few days of use, it is quite fast and convenient, with quality sound for its price. The camera is disappointing (low performance and quality). Overall, for simple use without too much fuss, it is a pretty good phone, but be careful... quite large in size!!
