It is lightweight and has nothing to do with the classic ones that you can't walk comfortably in! I haven't tried them in the rain to see if they are really waterproof. Pay attention to the size, as I usually wear a size 36 and I got a size 37 and they fit me normally.
Update: I wore them on a trip to Paris, which obviously involved a lot of walking, and they were better than athletic shoes.
