The AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor is based on the Zen 4 microarchitecture (2024). It features 8 cores with 16 threads. More cores provide increased power for programs that take advantage of a higher number of cores. Threads allow the processor to run multiple applications simultaneously, completing tasks faster. Its maximum frequency is 5.1 GHz.
The integrated Cache memory is 16 MB. Cache memory is a very important feature as the larger it is, the less time the processor needs to retrieve data from the computer's main memory, significantly boosting performance.
It has the AM5 Socket and will need to be housed in a motherboard with the corresponding Socket.
The Ryzen 7 8700F is a powerful processor, making it ideal for work conditions where multiple applications and browser windows need to be open simultaneously. It does not have an integrated graphics circuit, so your system will need a separate graphics card.

The new AMD Ryzen™ 8000 F-Series processors are designed based on the new "Zen 4" architecture (and Zen 4c depending on the model) and are manufactured using the 4nm FinFET method to support an increased number of instructions per clock cycle (IPC, Instructions per Cycle) compared to the previous generation and a higher maximum boost frequency for even higher performance when you need it. The TDP is limited to 65W for low overall consumption.

The Precision Boost 2 feature in processors increases core operating frequencies for enhanced performance where you need it most, whether you are a gamer or a content creator.
Precision Boost Overdrive

Purchased on 29/10 for 180€ (tray version). At the same time, the 7500f was priced at 160€. If you want a processor purely for a gaming PC, the 7500f is more cost-effective as it will provide more fps at a lower price. However, if you are multitasking and need more cores and threads (e.g., streaming), you will notice a difference from the 7500f. As of November 9th, when this review is made, the 8700f is priced at 210€, a price at which I do not recommend purchasing it. The images are with 3060ti 32gb ram at 6000
