After a few days of use, I would like to provide a comprehensive review with my impressions of this phone and highlight some details you should pay attention to.
Firstly and importantly, for anyone using Cosmote, this specific device is NOT supported on the company's 5G network. Check the list of supported devices. I don't know what the situation is with other companies, so look into it if it's essential for you (it's not for me).
Beyond that, we have a device that shares almost the same features as the best-selling A35. Let's take a look...
Display: The well-known top-notch super AMOLED with beautiful colors (although a bit saturated) and easy visibility even under bright sunlight. A big plus is the gorilla glass victus+ protection, which seems very difficult to scratch and also resists fingerprints! Quality that you find in much more expensive models, truly impressive!!!
Camera: Very good photos during the day and satisfactory at night where the flash helps a lot for portraits with clear faces. Okay, don't expect to take a crystal-clear picture of the moon, but for its category, it performs just fine!
In video, it's about the same with good shots and stabilization that helps a lot in some cases. The best option for me is 1080p at 60fps for smoother motion.
Overall, the camera is not something spectacular but will satisfy someone who doesn't have high demands!
Sound: Good quality from both speakers with Dolby Atmos and clear sound for both music and your conversations. I have no complaints, nor high expectations in this area!
Performance: The device runs smoothly with 6 GB RAM both in applications and games. I didn't notice any speed reduction, nor did it heat up much even when I pushed it hard!
Battery: A good battery for me lasts the day in every circumstance, and here the M35 easily managed it... with heavy use in calls, photos, surfing, gaming, and data on 4G with moderate coverage (2-3 bars), it lasted until the evening with 15% remaining! It can even last a day and a half to two days if you use it more normally! Finally, I stopped carrying a power bank!!!
Design: In the pictures, it looks bulkier than it is. Also, it didn't feel as heavy as I expected, perhaps due to the plastic! Anyway, the blue is very beautiful up close, and I was particularly impressed by the iridescent back!
Where it falls short compared to the A35:
1) In waterproofing
2) In official accessories like the smart view case
3) In bezels that could be smaller
4) In Macro, which is 2mp compared to 5mp of the A35
5) In cheaper build quality with plastic
Where it wins? Clearly in battery life with 1000mAh more!
Overall: It is worth its price, and in my opinion, it is one of the best mid-range devices available with a huge advantage over others in its category... 5 years of updates from Samsung!
