I bought it mainly for the cold, for rain and snow.
I have worn it so far once for a walk in the mountains with snow. It was warm and no water got in at all.
It seems to be of good quality and comfortable. I wore it for about 5-6 hours so I don't know if it would tire me out over a longer period.
Logically, it will also take the shape of my foot so I don't think I will have an issue.
If needed, I will come back.
An excellent shoe. Very comfortable, almost athletic. It gives a sense of quality shoe as soon as you hold it. I got it for everyday use in winter to replace my old Columbia and it is much better (and cheaper). My size is unusual, I followed Columbia's guide and it fit perfectly. I haven't tried it for hiking and mountaineering. I'm sure it will perform satisfactorily.
Very good price for the quality they offer.
I wore them on Mount Olympus for a continuous hike of 20 km. They were very comfortable and kept my feet very stable without any injuries.
I was wearing thermal wool socks that made the shoe even more comfortable.
They didn't hurt me and my feet didn't sweat at all.
The only negative thing that needs to be mentioned is that they slip on metallic surfaces on the road, such as manholes, etc
Beautiful and good shoe. Very comfortable and soft inside but holds the foot well.
First use in moderate hiking and it didn't bother or hurt at all. We had mud, ice, rocks, and streams and I only slipped once in 10 kilometers, due to my own stupidity. They are worth their money and worth getting for your excursions.
I will come back when they get more wet, but anyway, with stepping on mud and puddles, nothing went through.
Edit after 6 months. The shoe doesn't take in water from anywhere, maybe you feel a little moisture on the upper part, but it has to do with the temperature difference. Its quality obviously cannot be compared to top brands like La Sportiva, but it costs half the price. For now, it doesn't have any significant wear after several hikes on rocks, mud, and water. With proper care (cleaning and waterproof spray), it is a very reliable hiking shoe
Good shoe quality, lots of wear and tear and yet it didn't suffer anything. Satisfied with the purchase in question.
Excellent shoe. It fits perfectly on my foot, it doesn't pinch anywhere and is very comfortable. I usually wear size 47.5, but I shopped according to the size guide from Columbia on their official site, and I got size 47 and it's perfect. The size guide from Skroutz differs from the size guide on the official site. It's better to look for the size guide on the company's site and then buy from Skroutz. The shoes are non-slip and lightweight. The foot breathes easily. They are also waterproof to a certain extent.
UPDATE 12/26/2024
1 year later and after several ascents in Parnitha and hikes, the shoe is still like new, with minimal signs of wear. The soles after 300-400 km are in very good condition. Very satisfied!
After using them in the rain, without it being a storm, they got slightly wet at the bottom of the shoe, so they are not waterproof. Also, we slip on the sidewalks quite a bit.
They do an amazing job... They are indeed waterproof... Not a single drop passes through... I used them for 2 weeks in the mountains of Colombia, in mud and rain... Nothing went through... Just always wear thick socks. They can be a bit uncomfortable with thin ones
I recently climbed Mount Tymphe from Papigko (during a period of snow and cold) and I have to say that it was the best purchase I have made. They are absolutely waterproof and keep the foot stable (they saved me from a bad sprain).
I wore it for the first time on a hike to Drakolimni Tymphe (8 hours round trip on quite rough terrain) and they didn't hurt me at all. They felt very comfortable and provided perfect support for my foot and ankle. I was extremely satisfied. I tried size 42 (borderline, especially for hiking) and 43 (slightly big) in the store, so size 42.5 fit me perfectly.
Very good and comfortable shoes, I wear them for everyday use and mainly at work (delivery). The very negative thing for me is that after work (8 hours), the soles underneath become like when you are in water for a long time and your fingers whiten and wrinkle, the shoe keeps the feet excessively warm, which sweat so much and the soles underneath become terrible. I don't know if it's because of the area that has excessive humidity, but it's driving me crazy, the socks get soaked from sweat (both thick and thin socks) and the feet underneath are terrifying, especially if I wear them for more than 10 hours. I don't know if it's my fault or the shoe, although otherwise they are incredible shoes.
Edit: I wore them one day in heavy rain and after a while they simply turned into a puddle inside, they splash a little, but not for a lot of water.
I bought it looking for a winter shoe that is not bulky like classic boots, and I am 100% satisfied.
It has the comfort of a sports shoe, comfortable for walking and posture, fully waterproof, and also has good grip on ice. I definitely recommend it!

Columbia does not fit reviews and words. In the shoes, you get what you give...

It is half a size larger than what I usually wear! Otherwise, very good
