We are delighted to announce the release of the next issue in the series of English books for young and old that introduce readers to the world and culture of ancient Greece through the iconic heroines of mythology, featuring the mythical figure of the most beautiful woman of Antiquity, Helen, who became the source of many woes and legends for the Greek world. Whether they are adaptations of classic tragedies by Euripides, Aeschylus, and Sophocles or original works based on well-known sources, these books aim to take readers on a journey filled with adventure, drama, death, and love, while also focusing on the women who played such an important role in our history - and are often still remembered as mere spectators. The series began with the books Medea, Circe, Electra, continued with Antigone, and now Helen is being published. The series will conclude with the release of Ariadne. Each book can be read separately and you can start reading in any order, but there is an underlying thread that ultimately connects all these characters and provides a broader perspective on what it was like to be a woman in the ancient Greek world.
