However, it requires 1-2 faulty charges before it "learns" the batteries, so it can charge them correctly.   As for the charger, what can one say?.. does it work? ;p (energizer always gave as a gift its charger, along with battery packs. As for the batteries, I definitely have only good things to say. The previous energizer AA & AAA batteries I bought in 2012.. well, they lasted until 2024 (some still work.. - they have reduced endurance -. But 12 years!!;; You just don't buy batteries again. (for 12 years)

  In the photos you see the Knight of the asphalt, energizer edition and then it is revealed with my old batteries - I say maybe the old charger has an issue and not the 12-year-old batteries-

  WARNING: It comes in 2 identical versions, only that in one the batteries are made in China, while in the other they are Made in Japan. The logo on the battery changes very little; the biggest visual difference is that the chargers for the Japan-made ones are black, while the Chinese ones are almost identical in appearance but have a white plastic back and sides on the charger.
  Don't believe negative reviews like, "The batteries don't last, it doesn't charge quickly, etc." For the "juice" these batteries have inside, they are just fine. The only downside is that once in a while, one out of the four may not last for many charges, but even that is very rare to happen and it would logically be our fault, either because the battery has fallen or we have short-circuited it due to improper handling. Along with GP and Panasonic Eneloop, they are the best rechargeable batteries, and generally the best AA and AAA batteries in the world! Following them are Duracell, which have a bad reputation for "leaking," especially if left unused in a device for a long time.
  Personally, since I was young, I noticed that Energizer batteries last longer than others, and I have never had an issue with them "leaking" and damaging my device, as I have seen other cheaper batteries do. I use them in flashlights and not only, and I am completely satisfied. Especially the flashlights, besides shining brighter, they also last longer than with any alkaline battery. The only ones that last longer and will make the flashlight emit stronger light are the Energizer Ultimate Lithium, which are 3000 mAh and 1.5Volt instead of 1.2Volt like the rechargeable ones!
  Finally, let me remind you that it is much cheaper and generally has more advantages to use rechargeable batteries. The reasons are that you NEVER run out, not even when the stores are closed and you can't buy batteries, nor when they run out, because you simply recharge them or you already have charged ones set aside as many as you want!! Besides all this, it offers you superior quality, safety AND performance in the device! For so many years I was throwing away money on Alkalines!! Don't think about it, get 1 or 2 sets depending on your needs.
  PS: In measurements I have seen, these Energizer write 2000 mAh capacity, in reality, they are 2300 mAh!!! (It's no coincidence that their charger states it charges up to 2300!) Which is the same capacity as the Eneloop Pro, which cost much more. On the other hand, the Eneloop 2000mAh are close to 1900mAh... So Panasonic writes more than what they are, while Energizer, on the contrary, is more than what they state on the packaging! Personally, the best AA and AAA batteries I have used are anything I had in Energizer and GP. I have seen GP batteries used by professionals, and I have noticed that besides quality, they also have the largest capacities, whether in AA or AAA size!!! If you do serious research, and not just believe what you read on unknown pages, which most of the time are paid to promote specific products, you will confirm everything I mentioned.
