It is December in snowy Stockholm, and a great threat looms over the Swedish Minister of Justice, while a pile of human bones is discovered in the depths of the subway. It turns out that the skeleton belongs to a well-known financier who embezzled money from innocent citizens.

Police officer Mina Dabiri's team is trying to regroup after the traumatic events of the summer that resulted in the death of one of their colleagues. They eventually call on spiritualist Vincent Walder once again to help with the case.
