The JBL L42ms is an Integrated Audio System designed to match the modern entertainment lifestyle, offering the signature sound of a pair of JBL speakers in a single device. Behind the iconic JBL Quadrex grille are two dual 4-inch (100mm) woofers and dual 0.75-inch (20mm) aluminum tweeters, positioned left and right for a wide and even sound field. Externally, the L42ms features a sleek curved grille and is available in classic real walnut veneer finishes.

Audio connections include two pairs of analog inputs (one pair RCA and one 3.5mm) as well as an HDMI-ARC for TV connection. Additionally, the L42ms can play content via network cable or wirelessly through services like Spotify Connect, Apple Airplay2, and Google Chromecast, or connect directly via Bluetooth.

All sounds are managed through an advanced DSP, with 4-channel amplification providing 75W RMS to each woofer and 25W RMS to each tweeter. The total 200W RMS amplifier can be controlled via touch from the top panel or via the Bluetooth remote control.
