The JBL L42ms is a complete music system designed to integrate into today's entertainment lifestyle, offering the iconic sound of a pair of JBL speakers in a single system. Behind the distinctive JBL Quadrex grille are two dual 4-inch (100mm) woofer units and two dual 0.75-inch (20mm) aluminum tweeter units, positioned to create a wide and even sound field. Externally, the L42ms features a sleek curved grille and is available in classic wooden finishes of Black Walnut or Natural Walnut. Audio connections include two sets of analog stereo inputs (one pair of RCA and one 3.5mm input) along with an HDMI-ARC for TV connection. Additionally, the L42ms can stream content via wired or wireless connection with services like Spotify Connect, Apple Airplay2, and Google Chromecast or connect directly via Bluetooth. All sounds pass through an advanced DSP engine, where the content is adjusted and output to the speakers via a four-channel amplifier providing 75W RMS to each woofer and 25W RMS to each tweeter. The total system capability is 200W RMS and can be controlled via the touch panel on top of the unit, the included Bluetooth remote control, or through various music or automation apps.
