I have been a holder of a TCL 50 SE 5G for a while now and I would like to mention that
1) I receive notifications (emails) with a delay of 15 – 25 minutes even though I have tried what has been reported online regarding this.
2) After several charges, so that there is a reasonable reference time, the battery has a maximum capacity of 4400 mAh, far from the 5010 mAh stated in the specifications. ? (Measurement with UNI-T UT658)
3) From a search for Original battery TCL 50 5G (T790Y, T790H) TLp043F1 Lion 4500mAh internal ORIGINAL
4) I would appreciate a response from the company's representative!
Nice and fast, the memory expansion helps a lot. After 6 months of operation, the fingerprint does not work. At the store I contacted, they couldn't do anything, telling me to reset it to factory settings. After the system upgrade, it still does not recognize the fingerprint (as if it was deleted like an application)
+ touch screen response to commands, note-taking system, clock, streaming video resolution, screen surface, memory expansion capability
- phone search: there is a possibility that it may not display a saved contact if you do not search for it exactly as you wrote it, e.g. "Elen" was saved, but it cannot be found with "elen" or "ελέν"/"ελεν/" etc
A remarkable phone for its price, but whatever phone they release now, with so many processes and more and more with the same battery life, it doesn't hold up. All companies are now just relying on fast charging of 30/45/60 minutes, which is acceptable, but something tells me that if a new phone's battery lasts a day and a bit with normal use (2-3 hours of internet a day and a little game of 10 minutes), I can only imagine how the battery will be in a year if it doesn't improve. And by "if it doesn't improve," I mean if it stabilizes. There are phones that take about 2-3 months for the battery to stabilize in usage.
On the positive side, it has a remarkable camera for a phone. The stars are visible in the photo I took! Almost as much as the naked eye can see.
I don't think it's normal for it to heat up while I'm watching a video, and of course without charging it... I'm wondering if I should return it..
It is the best phone at the best price if you want a cheap one, it has a good battery, good space, decent video and photo quality, and a fast screen with nice animations. I hope TCL continues like this, and kudos to the store for having it so cheap. It also says it doesn't have NFC, but it does. What impressed me was that it was on Android 14, and after about three months, it got an update to 15. I was shocked; I hope someone gets it and sees, but doesn't be afraid that it won't go to 15; it will take some time

The mobile phone is excellent for its price. It reminds me a lot of the old, good, and cheap Xiaomi phones. What leaves you amazed is its screen, it is impressive. Its processor performs quite well, which is not surprising since the same processor is used in tablets. The camera is quite good for its price, the only downside is that I would like it to have video stabilization. The speaker is quite loud. I have had it for a few days but it has definitely impressed me a lot
Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max 64GB, I got this phone because I am a fan of large screens and I was surprised by how fast it is. The fast charging in just 30 minutes impressed me as well. It also has good sound, clear even without speakerphone, and of course, it supports NFC. It is a good value for the money. As for the camera, it blows away the competition with its triple 50MP rear camera and long battery life with a dynamic 5010mAh. This is something that current iPhones lack, as they can't even last a day in terms of battery life. Well done, TCL.
