The GT-Air 3 from Shoei is a full-face helmet that protects the entire head and jaw with precision and top performance in all conditions. Its sleek aerodynamic silhouette includes cutting-edge technology, ECE 22/06 certification, and excellent ventilation performance.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Perfect fit. Incredible materials. Especially the anti-sweat material is amazing for the summer months. The strap opens normally, you just need to first remove the black rubber piece at the end and put it back once you're done. It has been tested up to speeds of 170 and there is nothing negative. Perfect ventilation, perfect visibility. It is heavier than other helmets, but once you wear it, you get used to it. Without intercom, it is a silent helmet.
The helmet is not quiet! And those who say it is haven't worn a Schuberth... even the Shark Spartan that I have as a second is quieter.
On the positive side, it has INCREDIBLY good aerodynamics!! At 140 - 150 with the head stable!! really very good, just the noise ruins my mood. (It can be solved with earplugs).
It seems to have quality materials, although it's a heavy helmet, you get used to it after 2-3 weeks of use.
The sun visor is good (it's quite light) but not like the Schuberth where you feel like you're wearing an expensive pair of sunglasses...(on my next purchase, I will return to the German brand).
The strap that ties around the neck is relatively short and hits the "Adam's apple," and it's a pity that it doesn't have D-rings.
It would be good to try it for a few minutes in the store before you buy it
Excellent helmet in terms of build quality. Very good fit on the head. Visibility is very good, maybe only when you turn to look over your shoulder it restricts you a bit. It looks bulky but is well-balanced and doesn't tire you when wearing it. The visor snaps onto the helmet when closed, and I believe this helps a lot in reducing noise. If combined with a suitably heighted motorcycle visor, I estimate that the noise is significantly reduced.
Relatively lightweight helmet but you don't notice it when you wear it, very good visibility, silent, you see the reliability of the Japanese and the company, very good ventilation of the head, and I was positively surprised by the filter they have added to the chin vent, the sun visor that extends the full length and provides complete coverage from the sun
Perfect fit. Perfect construction. The strap that ties around my neck seems short in length. For me, it only fits at its maximum length.
After 100km, it has a little noise, but this depends on the machine you have and what you wear. Anyway, it is not a silent helmet, and this is more noticeable on hot days when we usually don't wear anything around the neck!!
The weight, while a bit heavier than other helmets, I didn't notice.
