I consider it unjustifiable for something like this to happen for a brand like Vans, especially considering their cost. It may have been a random occurrence with this particular pair. I bought them for casual walks and at first they were fine, but after 2 months I noticed that the flame has started to fade and overall they have a tired look. For the price of 80, they are not worth it. They are much nicer compared to the plain black ones I had before, but I wouldn't buy them again because 80 is too much for something like this.
