Throwing away money. 2 out of 2 43'' TVs defective. The first one never turned on. It was immediately replaced with the same model. The second one didn't last even two months. It no longer turns on. It will go for repair.

It's a great 65-inch TV and the €523 was a super price. The television is for ordinary mortals. Yes, okay, if you compare it with others that cost 3x its value, you might see a difference, but in everyday typical use, only the very demanding will notice.

Essentially, it is the same model as the 8572 series, with the only difference being the base; in the 8072, the legs are separate, while in the 8572, they are unified. The TV is slightly superior to the 7172, but with a small difference. Overall, the picture quality is satisfactory... slightly better and brighter with better performance in HDR (Netflix movies, etc.) is the Q60D series (2024), which is QLED... however, the difference is not significant enough to justify the price difference. In other words, the DU8072 is much more valuable for its price compared to the more expensive Q60. However, if you want deeper blacks and richer images, then you should look at more advanced models, such as the Samsung Q80, which features a full array local dimming system... Samsung QN85, QN90, and above, which are mini LED... etc.

However, as a series, the 8072 is not that bad, considering the money it asks for.

One more thing, despite the not outrageous price, the 8072 (like the 8572) delivers the white color gamut, meaning DCI P3, Rec 2020, which are next-generation color systems that unfortunately the similarly priced economical LGs do not reproduce as accurately.

For longer lifespan and reliability, prefer the user mode or eco mode for the picture, avoid dynamic mode... as it excessively burdens the LEDs... And also avoid placing the TV near heat sources, such as radiators, fireplaces, etc

Very bad television and QUALITY in terms of colors mainly in the shade of black and as FUNCTION. I have the exact same one but the 21 model!! From the beginning it was sticking as software, it didn't open the applications many times and it wanted you to unplug it and plug it back in to unlock it.. But the main issue is that I made the mistake and I didn't put the 5-YEAR WARRANTY and I left it in the 2-YEAR and within 3 YEARS it has broken 2 TIMES THE PANEL (the 2nd now) resulting in now that it is not worth repairing because it is half the cost and I have to buy a new one! AWAY! WASTED MONEY!
