The Greentek HDP-11 Indoor TV Antenna did an excellent job and truly impressed me!

Very good for its price. It solved our problem of not having an antenna in a room that would have forced us to drill holes to run a cable to the rooftop. Beautiful. Easy installation. Sometimes it doesn't pick up certain HD channels (mainly ERT3 HD, EPT2 HD). However, usually the signal comes back the next day. On that day, we watch the non-HD channel... But overall, very satisfied for its price.

Okay, I didn't believe that an indoor antenna would solve the reception issue in a room without an antenna, and the solution of drilling and running a cable from the roof seemed like the only option. In 1 minute, you have perfect signal, without interruptions and interference even in bad weather (storm). Very elegant, lightweight, and unbelievably affordable! Respect!

If you plug it in without the built-in signal amplifier, then it doesn't need a socket, it connects directly to the TV with a cable. However, you need to find the right spot to pick up the channels. If you use the amplifier, it needs a socket, and at least for us, it didn't make any difference. In the center of Athens, it picks up all the digital channels normally, ONLY when it is facing a specific point, towards the window.

In the center of Thessaloniki, in a first-floor apartment, it catches all the channels with 100% signal. However, only if it is placed on a high shelf (>190 height). On a shelf 50cm from the floor, it does not catch a signal. There are also occasional drops in the signal. Probably logical, due to the densely populated area.
In short, if you have a problem with the antenna of the apartment building, it is a perfect solution, instead of waiting for all the tenants to agree to change it.

The apartment I am in is on the second floor in the center of Athens (Neapoli Exarcheia). This area is behind Mount Lycabettus, so there is no visual contact with Mount Hymettus, where the signal transmission from the channels takes place. I installed the antenna inside without looking out the window... However, it catches all, I mean ALL the channels without interruptions and problems, something I did not expect. It is worth its money and more!!! I highly recommend it.
