This is the second one I bought because I thought it was just a coincidence... well, in the end, the same problems with both, it shuts off with the slightest bump when you leave it on the counter of the store and the worst part is you miss calls, the caller hears it ringing normally but the phone doesn't ring for you, it doesn't make any sound.
I bought the phone on Christmas Eve of 2014.
So, 9 years later and the device works perfectly, just like new.
I only changed the batteries once, about 2 years ago.
I wrote this review because I bought the exact same device as a gift.
I had two cordless phones before - the Panasonic KX-TCA150EXV and a Gigaset C590. I would say both are preferable to the Panasonic KX-TGH210! Especially the KX-TCA150EXV - SUPER!
It's a shame that the buttons started to not respond well and finding a replacement became impossible (due to its age).
So far, here are some weak points of the new Panasonic KX-TGH210.
- Short power cord (shorter than my old Panasonic)
- After the second ring, the caller's name appears with a number. Until then, it says "Incoming call."
- Noticeable delay in displaying the phonebook
- The volume of the ringtone and speaker could have been a bit louder!
- It doesn't show the number of missed calls on the main screen! It has a symbol and you have to go inside to see how many calls you have missed in total.
- Its price. With a purchase price of 42 euros, it's definitely not worth it! I would have been better off buying a cheap one for 25 euros.
Very good and reliable landline phone, sturdy construction with an alarm clock and a nice blue and large screen. It has hands-free listening and many settings (answering machine, messages, recognition, and many more).
Very good base that keeps it stable with a good and powerful speaker that has over 20 different sound options with high volume ringtones. It does not have annoying call sounds. By pressing the base, you can find where you left it inside the house, as it emits a sound to locate it. It is quality for its price, although it could be a little cheaper than the 60 euros I bought it for. Generally, you can't find a good landline phone for less than 40 euros.
It lasted only one year. Around 10 months it required daily charging (after a very short duration of talking), until the last month when it wouldn't even turn on anymore. A failed purchase.
It burns coal.
2. The contacts list is annoyingly slow. The screen protector is scratched for fun. The battery needs frequent charging.
3. The screen response to keys is quite mediocre in fast typing as well as in menus. There is no chance of detecting double key presses.
4. The delay is probably due to data storage in the database rather than on the phone.
5. I will try the "display one by one" setting to show contacts and menus one by one and I will come back. I will also reduce the phone's base distance.
Even the German model, the one with the suffix "GB" (for black) or "GW" (for white), has a menu in Greek. It supports a total of 14 languages.
The "G" stands for "Germany".
The "B" stands for "Black".
The "W" stands for "White".
The Greek model has the suffix "GR" and immediately after the "B" or "W" for black or white respectively.
The differences between the German and Greek models are two:
1) the telephone cable is not suitable for Greece, but MyTel, the company I bought it from, sent me a free additional Greek cable.
2) the user manual is in German, but you can download the corresponding Greek version in PDF format from the Panasonic website (Attention: from the international website, not the Greek one).
Finally, a phone without rubber buttons.

8 months later, I am completely satisfied and I ordered a second device from the same store
For its price, it is a good phone with a nice design and an easy menu. It is a bit slow when scrolling through the saved names in the phonebook and overall when navigating through the entire menu! Also, with slightly more intensive use, the batteries don't last long.
As a general conclusion, I believe that instead of improving, Panasonic is actually going in the opposite direction. And I say this because I have been using their cordless phones for years and I consider the older models to be better.
It is a phone with a user-friendly menu, easy to operate. Unfortunately, the packaging only included instructions in German (I easily downloaded them from the internet, but I would have preferred to have them). Good purchase for its price!
