Comparison with the Previous Generation

The Raptor Lake (14th Gen) provides support for Thunderbolt 4 and Intel Wi-Fi 7 (5 Gig), compared to the Raptor Lake (13th Gen) with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6/6E.

Intel's hybrid architecture is designed to leverage the most advanced technologies at the platform level, such as DDR5 memory type and PCIe Gen.5 standard. Thus, the specialized and integrated controllers in the processor offer support for DDR5 memory speeds up to 5,600MT/s and the PCIe Gen.5 standard (a total of 16x lanes PCIe 5.0 and 4x lanes PCIe 4.0 are supported).

    The most terrible processors so far, and generally all the 24-core Intel generation, whether you put a graphics card or liquid cooling, are not suitable for any work. We tested 4 different 24-core Intel processors in a technical lab with 2 corresponding AMD processors, the 7900x and the 7950x3d. In Forza 5 at 4k resolution with all graphics on Ultra, your favorite processor barely crawled at 60fps, the 7900x gave 88fps, and the 7950x3d gave 102fps. It should be noted that all processors were tested with the same monitor and the same graphics card so that our measurements would be standard. We tested Doom Eternal with full Ultra graphics, and the Intel here reached 105fps at 4k resolution, the 7900x reached 180fps, and the 7950x3d reached 192fps. We tested Heroes of the Storm at 4k resolution, and the Intel gave us 285fps, the 7900x gave us 420fps, and the 7950x3d gave us 512fps. We tested Overwatch at 4k resolution, and the i9-14900KS gave us 130fps barely, while the 7900x gave us 300fps, and the 7950x3d gave us 380fps. We tested Halo Infinite with the Intel here at extreme graphics and 4k resolution, and it gave us 105fps, the 7900x reached 200fps, and the 7950x3d reached 265fps. I tell you this, and whoever understands, understands: the cache that Intel has in the core of the processors is dead, poor, and not suitable for heavy gaming, and generally, the money spent on a 24-core processor is wasted. Even with an expensive motherboard, if you ever buy it, the overclocking of the processor will not reach 6ghz. Intel has serious problems, and not with cooling issues, etc.; the processors are simply dead now and cannot hold heavy games. You will play them, of course, but I seriously doubt you will play upcoming games that have higher demands.
