Self-stabilizing silicone gel, non-sticky and transparent, for the treatment of scars, both old and new. Strataderm induces scar normalization, relieves itching
and discomfort, and reduces redness and discoloration of the skin caused by scars.
It is used for all types of scars including those caused by: surgery, trauma, chronic ulcers, burns, bites, acne, and other skin conditions.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
My dermatologist recommended it to me after a procedure. It works, but you need to apply it intensively. Also, I used it on a scar from a cold sore on my lips and already from the first time I saw it decrease.
I have been using it daily for 5 months on a scar on my forehead. I don't see any difference. In fact, the scar has discolored and turned white. Also, for those who buy it, be aware that it is not absorbed at all, and inevitably others will see the spot shining (in case the wound is in a visible area).
The improvement of the scars is remarkable, but I will definitely need a second tube or half more. I combine it throughout the day with the Bepanthol balm, which is thick and suitable for the healing of tattoos.
The regenerating ability is amazing, it literally erases scars and marks. I used it on my child's bruise (stitches) and it has done a tremendous job, and on my cesarean scar as well... both have spectacular results!!!
I used stratamed for about 2 months on a scar from a cesarean section where I had cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen. I did not see a significant difference. Within 10 days with strataderm, the scar decreased in both length and "thickness"! And it started to fade. I believe that the use of stratamed helped, but strataderm made the difference! *Using it twice a day
Some results are given, however there are other non-silicone, with more natural ingredients and much cheaper healing creams.
I only use it for 3 days on 2-month-old surgical wounds. I will come back for evaluation, for now, I have already noticed that the texture becomes smoother. In terms of color, which is red, obviously there hasn't been any difference yet. It doesn't have an annoying smell, it wasn't irritating to my skin at all. It takes quite a while to absorb even though I apply a small amount.
Update 1/9/23
Apart from the texture, which does indeed look better, I haven't noticed any change in color and healing speed. I apply it twice a day
After surgery, my doctor gave me a herbal one that did not heal the wound. After going to a dermatologist after 3 months, he recommended this one which is excellent and one month later I have a good healing grade. Very satisfied even though it is expensive.
I have used it minimally and the cut of the product has already started to fade... It's worth its money!! I will come back in a few months for a new evaluation.
Most of the rave reviews are for stratamed. However, before we applied it to our two-year-old, we assumed that there would still be a terrifying scar from a previous injury because we hadn't seen any improvement with the previous product. With this one, indeed, six months after the injury and four months after starting to use it, it has diminished to a point where you wouldn't see it if you didn't know. We will continue using it for another six months with the goal of having nothing left.
Wound healing cream. It was recommended to me by my gynecologist after a cesarean section. The truth is that it has greatly improved the texture and appearance of the incision, and I have been using it for a month now.
I put it on my cesarean scar. It did an okay job, but the cost is very high. You need 5-6 months to apply it 2-3 times a day for the mark to completely disappear. Each tube lasts less than a month and costs 35-40 euros (you use a little, but the cesarean incision is large)
After 2 months, there is no visible scar from the stitches on the chin, except for some redness. I hope this will also disappear (of course, with regular use morning and night)
I had initially purchased this product and decided to buy another similar one afterwards, with the foolish reasoning that it is more expensive and will do a better job. While I had the stradaderm, everything was fine, but a few days after changing the product, the scar became distorted and the things it claimed to prevent appeared. Now I have started using strataderm again and I hope the problem will be corrected. Surgical incision (ten-year-old child)
After a serious burn, it has been used for about two years every night before sleep! In combination with silicone patches, it does an amazing job! Also, the cream greatly reduces (almost eliminates) the feeling of itching!!!
I have been using it for a month and a half on a scar from a cesarean section. I don't see anything dramatic, I think it doesn't do anything for the scar. Also, it is ridiculously expensive for not doing miracles!
I use this cream daily, almost for a month now after my surgery. It successfully accelerates the healing of the scar. I am satisfied with the result, although it is too expensive for its effectiveness. Overall, the tube lasted for about a year with daily use.
I don't know if it did anything to the blemish.. In the end, I got a rash in one part of the blemish from using it.
I apply it to a scar from surgery and I see results, it has almost disappeared in one spot. I hope it completely disappears as promised. The only negative is the price
Very good cream.
The price may seem a bit high, but it lasts for MANY uses.
It does a good job on old and ESPECIALLY on new scars.
I used it for 6 months on a cesarean section and saw a significant difference.
P.S. I have very fair and sensitive skin that doesn't heal easily.
Nevertheless, I was quite satisfied with this specific ointment.
Ok expensive for its size, but it offers some improvement. Personally, I have been using it for 3 months on a burn mark and it seems to help. However, the ability of the skin to heal and regenerate definitely plays a bigger role. At least it has smoothed the skin without scars.
I bought it again from the 2nd store and it is very high quality. If you use it as recommended by the instructions, it has amazing results.
I have been using it daily for a month now, as it claims to have various benefits. It is very expensive without justifying its cost! With a simple cortisone cream that costs 5-6€, I had better results on a similar scar a few years ago.
It might help in some cases.
Only God performs miracles.
And it is very expensive for a silicone cream
My doctor recommended this specific cream for my cesarean scar. I have been using it for a month now. I haven't seen a significant difference, I can't say for sure though because it's a short period of time
I use it on my cesarean section as recommended by my gynecologist, with daily use for 5 months, twice a day, the scar looks much better, of course, but it is still very visible and red.

Very fluid, it doesn't stay on you easily like others that are thicker like silicone.

for closed wounds right after healing, it was excellent

It does the job. It was applied in a deep burn and fully healed the wound.
