cleans very well - not like a makeup remover but like a second step - and does not dry out the skin, helped a lot with pimples. However, one cannot expect serum action from a cleanser.. if you leave it on longer it dries out the skin. also, it requires a small amount so it lasts a long time and rinses off easily.

This has helped a lot with my acne PIE skin, inflammatory redness and clogged pores, I use it twice a day , and specifically at night I leave it for 2- 3 minutes, to actually get the benefits of the salicylic acid , It might be drying but thats normal as its a bha cleanser , I follow up with hydrating and soothing agents and my skin has significantly improved!
