I am very satisfied with this particular product. Personally, it is the fastest I have seen in data transfer so far.
Some tips for this product:
1) Place it in the blue ports that you see and the product has, the ports with the blue color are the fast ones, the ports with the other colors do not have as much speed.
2) To achieve maximum efficiency in data transfer speed, place it behind the computer, as shown in the photo I uploaded, in a blue port as I mentioned above because these ports communicate directly with the motherboard and the speed will be amazing!!!
negatives
- long length for a product that does NOT have simultaneous 2 USB A + C ports. The sliding mechanism is known to NOT protect against dust and small debris over time of use.
positives
- the low price
- the pSLC-Cache memory is at 24 GB. When filled during extreme use, we have about 250MB in sequential writing. The reading is not affected and remains at 850-900MB. Of course, these apply in a system with a 10Gbits USB port and internal M2 storage
Excellent. Very fast. Absolutely satisfied. After a year, I bought a second one. So if I need, I will get a third.
Very fast, it raises the temperature a bit but so far everything is okay. If there is anything new, I will come back.
One of the best for someone who wants high speeds at a reasonable price! To achieve the performance it promises, the PC must also be up to par!
I have two and I use them for backup. One of them stopped working in less than a year. The computer does not recognize it, nor does the indicator light turn on when I connect it via USB. I have Kingston drives that have worked for many years, and a couple of them have even accidentally gone through the washing machine and still work! I read in a review here from another user that he had a failure, so it might not be a coincidence. The sliding mechanism is also not practical in my opinion.
Latest Edit Oct 2024. After 1.5 years, the second one is dead too. It can't be a coincidence. And I don't even use it continuously. I only do a full backup of my PC's drive once a week with a backup program that creates an image.
Stay away in my opinion.
It is not as fast as it is presented. In transferring large files, it starts off fast and then the speed dramatically drops with fluctuations that do not reach the initial speed. For example, it drops from 500mb/sec to 50mb/sec. Additionally, compared to the competition, it is excessively long, which is not convenient everywhere. Another issue I encountered is that the USB plug is retractable, but the quality of how it is done is not good, resulting in me having to "lock" it with tape because when I inserted it into USB ports, it would retract inward, making it difficult to place.
From my experience with the USB stick, I would say that for such capacities and above, it is better to go straight to a portable SSD-NVMe drive, which is more stable in transferring multiple GBs (they no longer have a big difference in volume).
Specifically, this one maintains the (otherwise very high) transfer speed for about 2-3GB, and then drops dramatically (presumably due to cache).
Also, the plastic mechanism that hides-reveals the end is incredibly difficult to use.
P.S. The first one I received "died" on the first file transfer, I want to believe that it was just a hardware failure, since the one they replaced it with has been working fine since then.
Just got it, wanted to get a stick that I would have for a long time, quality, as soon as I opened it, disappointed with the slide mechanism, which I generally don't like in any stick, you try to connect it, you put it on the wrong side (which always happens, takes a few tries :) and the slide closes, it's very annoying and sensitive, and it keeps closing, I'm thinking either to break it, so it doesn't have the slide, or to put a clip to keep it in place. I'm a little disappointed.
Edit: Guys, I accidentally removed it without safely ejecting it on Windows 10 and it just stopped working completely. Neither diskpart recognizes it nor anything else (I tried different programs on different PCs), it just broke. I don't know what's going on but this has never happened to me before.
My review remains because it may have happened to me, but it is indeed the fastest stick I have ever used, until it works
Honest stick... I used it to transfer a large software update to the car (over 50GB) and it did the job. In general, it is longer than a typical stick and may be an obstacle for use in multimedia, for example, in cars where the USB ports may not be easily accessible. It delivers on promised speeds. It supports exFAT. From a construction perspective, you can't say it's something special. It is indeed lightweight, but it still has a simple plastic casing.
Words are unnecessary for the speeds it achieves. It is the fastest USB (Type A) stick that has been released so far. A big plus is the 5-year warranty, but the negative aspect is the quality of the plastic casing and mechanism. I would recommend the 512GB or 1TB versions because the 256GB falls behind in terms of write speed. In the images, I show the speeds in Gen1 and Gen2 ports (b450 motherboard).

Good speed but the plastic doesn't handle long trips
The fastest USB stick on the market!
