I have the cooler with its own fan and another Arctic one. With 30 degrees in the summer, it fluctuates around 40-42 while under full load it reaches up to 84 (Ryzen 5 3600X and MX-4 paste). I can't hear any noise, however, I have the case under the desk and not next to it. For a 20 euro product, it is quite good. Personally, though, I would give an extra 20-25 euros to go for an Arctic cooler, but I don't know how much better performance-price ratio they have.
VFM cooler. I bought it for 19 euros, painted it black with spray, added an Arctic P12 fan that I had lying around, and the cooler gives me exactly the same cooling as the Cryorig H7 and the Coolermaster 212. It has been installed in the NR200p and to help, it barely fits, a minimal and gentle tap is needed for the protruding heatpipes, and it fits perfectly even with the tempered glass.
In a very small room with a room temperature of 41 degrees, the processor reaches a maximum of 61 degrees. The processor is the D31 Intel 775 and previously reached 70 degrees at idle. I believe that the cooler does its job perfectly, given the very high ambient temperature. To install it, I came up with a trick, because I was too lazy to remove the motherboard and replace the backplate. I mounted it on top of the old backplate and struggled a bit to make it work. The package includes thermal paste, which I used.
I installed it a week ago on an old system with an i7 960 3.20 MHz. From 50C at idle, it dropped to 33C. From 94C during rendering, it dropped to 47C. Very easy installation without any problems. It has moderate noise, but it doesn't bother. It's a great value for money and I recommend it.
For its price, it's great. I paid about 20 euros and I installed 2x NF-P12 REDUX-1700 PWM fans that I already had instead of the included one, so I can't have an opinion on its performance since I haven't tested it. However, in the following tests, you can see the performance with the Noctua fans, which are specifically designed to be placed directly on the heatsink (high air pressure).
At 100% fan speed in all cases, perfectly installed and tight, it has a good mounting mechanism for the heatsink at least.
Processor: Ryzen 7 5800X.
In prime95, small FFTs with sufficient Arctic MX-4, we have the following:
At stock frequency 3.8GHz ~990mV vcore (vcore setting in the bios: normal and not auto because it gives more voltage without reason), it reached a maximum of 55C.
At 4.5GHz 1.28V vcore, it reached a maximum of 80C.
And at 5GHz ~1.45V vcore, it reached a maximum of 90C, and it stops there due to the limits set by AMD regarding PPT, TDC, and EDC (142 Watt, 95A, 140A respectively).
I'm giving you these 3 examples from my 8-core processor so you know what to expect depending on yours, approximately, and to clarify that even though my case is small, I don't have the side panel closed. I have a 200mm Noctua fan on top (exhaust fan), a 140mm Noctua fan in the front (intake fan), and a 120mm Noctua fan at the back (exhaust fan), so you can understand that the case doesn't lack airflow.
I want to clarify that the cooler doesn't have any issues, these are just the maximum limits it can handle. For no reason does it support 180 watts as someone else mentioned in the comments when it can't keep the 5800X below 90C at around 140 watts at full load, and who knows how high it would actually go if my settings were different.
For someone who has a CPU like the 5600X/3600/X or the 10600K and wants something very cheap, it will probably be great, especially if you don't do overclocking and let the turbo/boost function do its job on its own.
It's not for overclocking the cooler, even if you add a second fan. IF the processor is as hot as mine, if it's for something much smaller or without overclocking, well, it depends, you might not have any issues.
But here comes the price/performance factor, which makes the difference. In terms of price, it's simply unbeatable (you can find it for around 14 euros without shipping), and it's a very good choice if you have a mid-range or lower-performance processor.
As for the negatives, if you don't have space/patience to work with, the clips it has to hold the fans will give you some trouble, but the very good thing is that the company, even though it only gives you one fan as stated on the box, also gives you a second clip to install another fan if you want. So, after considering all these factors, for this price, we're talking about something very good.
The photos do not do justice to its color. They show it as matte gray, while it is actually shiny silver.
Based on its website, it has a 180W CPU capability!
Its fins are sturdy and do not bend like the Deepcool Gammax 200T (which is only for 125W and at a similar price).
It has all the positive comments of the LC-CC-120-RGB regarding performance (which can be found here: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/15583216/LC-Power-Cosmo-Cool-LC-CC-120-RGB.html#reviews) since it is identical, just that the LC-CC-120-RGB is painted and has an RGB fan.
Well:
Excellent price, first of all, large cooler with a 120mm fan, 4 copper heat pipes, and overall very good construction. With a little difficulty during installation, as it needs to be placed behind the motherboard's socket base (its own base). Very low noise levels in normal conditions, when playing the sound increases, but it guarantees that the temperatures will be kept at low levels. I went for this cooler after a lot of searching because I trusted the following link. I believe that spending more money would have been a waste. Some observations:
GTA 5 | stock intel 69 | LC CC 120 54
ASSASINS UNITY | stock intel 77 | LC CC 120 60
WITCHER 3 | stock intel 71 | LC CC 120 58
Finally, I have to say that I don't have any overclocked processor, but it's an i7 4790 which is a beast.
