High-quality finish with premium aluminum plate

With the push-pull configuration, the 36 CO cooler not only impresses with its efficient cooling performance but also with its design. The soldered ends of the heat pipes are hidden by the screwed aluminum cover, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into any computer setup and showcase both performance and appearance.

Freezer 36 - Tested and Verified by Intel

Intel tested and confirmed the Freezer 36 on the i9-13900K/KF, i9-14900K/KF, and i9-13900KS in the Enthusiast and Desktop categories. In these tests, Intel examined both the contact frame placement and the cooler's performance.

Future Compatibility

The Freezer 36 CO is highly compatible with both Intel and AMD sockets. Intel will release the new Arrow Lake processors in the LGA1851 socket in the future. ARCTIC customers do not need to worry that the new processors will require new coolers. We guarantee full compatibility. All Freezer 36 models can be used with Intel's new LGA1851 socket without any limitations.

Improved fan placement

Thanks to the innovative mounting system, chamber fans are effortlessly mounted onto the heatsink with a click system. This mounting method eliminates the need for fan clips, making it easier to install the cooler or replace the fans, even if the cooler is already installed. The Freezer 36 CO is therefore compatible with most 120 mm fans.

LGA1851 | LGA1700 Contact Frame

The independent loading mechanism (ILM) of Intel deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kilograms. This causes stress on the board, the DIE, and the solder layer between the DIE and the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). With high thermal load, this can lead to long-term problems. The mounting frame from ARCTIC does not deform the CPU, massively reduces the mechanical load on the CPU, is quick and easy to install, and allows the cooler to be screwed onto the backplate of the CPU. As a result, the mechanical strain on the motherboard and CPU is minimized, cooling performance remains stable, and installation is quick and simple.

Designed for continuous operation

Both fans of the Freezer 36 CO are equipped with two Japanese bearings. This makes these fans particularly durable and resistant to external forces such as heat, dust, and vibrations. Therefore, this variant is the ideal choice for 24/7 operation.

Optimized heatsink

The heatsink fins are open on the side and allow the pull fan to draw additional cool air from the computer case through the heatsink. This side flow design achieves even more efficient ventilation.

Fans P with high static pressure

ARCTIC relies on the proven P fans, which are known for their strong performance. The P series is particularly suitable for use in heatsinks and radiators. Due to the dense structure of the heatsink fins, the fans used achieve significantly better performance than fans designed for airflow thanks to their high static pressure.

I haven't rushed to leave such a quick review again. I recommend it with my eyes closed! Absolute VFM at its price and the noise is nonexistent compared to the old one (AMD stock that wasn't enough to cool the processor). I ran a Cinebench stress test and it didn't touch 84C. If you're going budget, Arctic is a guarantee!

So far so good. It hasn't been more than 12 hours since I installed it and I have to say that compared to the stock cooler from AMD, specifically in Elden Ring, I see various temperatures around 30 degrees. I have the R5 7600. From 80 - 90, it doesn't go above 60. The reason I gave it a medium noise rating is because it doesn't belong to classes like Noctua but the noise is definitely not annoying. Practically, it doesn't bother me at all because the computer is behind the TV and with the sounds from the games, I hear the graphics card more than the cooler.

In case something changes, I will update the post.

edit 1: Hogwarts Legacy went from 90C at launch and hitting 80-90, now it doesn't go above 70C.
edit 2: Along with undervolting, for which I found a video on YouTube, I have something over 1000 score in Cinebench with the R5 7600.
edit 3: I've been using it for 2 weeks and I haven't noticed the slightest problem. Combined with the Kolink Observatory HF Mesh case, it is an extremely budget-friendly solution even for high-end systems in my opinion.
Edit 4 (29/12): It has now been about 2 months and none of the problems I had with the stock AMD cooler have appeared. In demanding games like Indiana Jones, Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin's Creed Mirage, I have no issues at all. The processor reaches up to 60-65 degrees. In my opinion, it is worth much more than liquid coolers.
Edit 5 (31/1/2025): I use the air conditioning for heating on a daily basis now. The computer is almost under the air conditioner and the warm air blows on it. The processor temperatures DO NOT rise, guys. At most 65 degrees whether I have heating on or not (under load always)
