Description

Expressing a new perception of the retro running shoe form, the Gel-Kayano 14 reappears with the aesthetics of the late 2000s, as a tribute to our historic Gel-Kayano series. Reinterpreting the shoe's performance with updated materials and elements, this model became the first edition of the series not designed by Toshikazu Kayano. The passing of the baton also renews the model's characteristic values while simultaneously evolving its performance. Replicating the original midsole design with Gel protection technology, this model also has an even better fit in the upper part, maintaining the original 2008 construction with layers of leather and mesh material.

    Very good shoe with "retro" elements. It was purchased at a price of 80 euros during the sales, and I believe it is worth spending up to 100-120 euros for its purchase. As the owner of many different models of ASICS, the size 44.5 applies to this particular model as well. The quality of the materials is very good. It is exactly like the ASICS models from 10 years ago, just with new sole technology and comfort. I believe that this particular retro model, Kayano 14, is more of a sneaker for walking, casual strolls, jeans, and maybe even the gym. I would not recommend it for running and long distances.
