It's in the cloud is the elegant version of 'chalk'. I bought this particular one to replace Alpine Snow, which is the pure white from the same company. While Alpine, although impressive, seemed foreign resembling blanco, It's in the cloud, with its light off-white shade, blends perfectly with the skin color, without sacrificing any of the cleanliness and edgy look of opaque white.
As for the texture, it is expectedly thick for an opaque light-colored polish. What doesn't help this particular texture is the OPI brush. I never had a problem with darker colors. However, having gotten used to the amazing brush of Essie in the latest light-colored polishes I bought, this one gave me some difficulty.
And here I come to its negative aspect, which is the application. The combination of brush and texture left noticeable streaks on the first coat, and I didn't achieve good coverage even on the second coat. With the third coat, the results are quite satisfactory but not perfect.
Nevertheless, I will definitely add it to my permanent collection, possibly as the only white, for its fantastic, warm, sugary shade.
