API® Melafix is a natural antibacterial solution for treating bacterial infections in fish. Common infections have symptoms such as open wounds and abrasions, tail decay, cloudy eyes, and visible fungal infections in the mouth.

API® Melafix enhances the rebuilding of damaged tissue. It is recommended for use when introducing new fish to the aquarium, especially when they come directly from a store, to smooth the transition and prevent possible illnesses in the early stages where they are difficult to detect. It is safe and advisable to use the product preventatively when there is a suspicion of infection even without a definitive diagnosis.

It does not negatively affect the biology of the filter, does not alter pH, and does not leave stains in the water. It is safe for reef aquariums and live plants and suitable for use in freshwater or saltwater.

Instructions for use:

• Add 5ml per 40 liters of water.
• Administer the medication daily for 7 days.
• After treatment, perform a 25% water change.
