Coming from Huawei Freebuds 5i.
In conversation, the Buds Pro are perfect. The person on the other end hears you crystal clear!
Because I work on the road, I hear the person I'm talking to perfectly! In noise cancellation, Huawei clearly wins... With Huawei, you literally couldn't hear when a truck or car passed by. With the Buds Pro, you hear background noises... They are very comfortable in the ear, you don't feel them, I wear them for 6 hours straight and they don't bother me like the Huawei do! At first, it's a bit difficult to put them in, but after a few days, it becomes second nature! The battery life of the headphones is excellent! I think the charging case runs out faster compared to Huawei's, but okay, that's not a huge problem! For their price, I consider them very fair! They also have various settings, for example, if you're wearing the headphones while listening to music and someone talks to you, the music stops so you can hear! If you're just wearing them without listening to anything and you have noise cancellation selected, when someone talks to you, it immediately switches to transparency.
Being a holder of two generations of Pixel phones, after my previous headphones (soundcore liberty 2) broke, I decided to try the Pixel Buds Pro, so they would have good connectivity with the phone and the convenience they offer. Their sound is just okay, they are average headphones, with their biggest disadvantage being the sound volume, which in my opinion is utterly disappointing. I constantly found myself increasing the volume and realizing it was at maximum. Many times on the subway, I couldn't hear the music due to the noise (even with ANC activated) on one hand, and on the other hand due to the limited volume of the headphones. My previous ones didn't have such a problem. The bass was also insufficient since I like to use it, and the EQ didn't make a huge difference, so it was just okay. Overall, the headphones for the money I paid for them (120 euros) are very mediocre. Also, they are not the most comfortable in the ear, and perhaps their shape has something to do with that. They didn't sit very well, and after a while, they slipped out. There are many better options at this price, and ultimately I went ahead and bought others. I gave the Pixel Buds to my mother (a Pixel owner) and proceeded to buy the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro (129 euros), and they are truly night and day compared to Google's. The Soundcore app is amazing and really well thought out. The belief that the connectivity I thought would be problematic was wrong since they worked exactly like the Pixel Buds. I don't know how good the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are, but I didn't want to spend 200+ euros on headphones, and I don't believe they will be that good. Overall, I am disappointed, and they are not worth buying.
Very good headphones, especially if you have a Google phone. Excellent connectivity, good clean sound, satisfactory battery depending on the usage you want to make, and a very good microphone for calls. The price hurts a little, but if you find them on sale, I highly recommend them without reservation.
I have had these headphones for quite some time, they are connected to the Pixel 6.
TLDR: Unreal sound quality, huge battery, incredible ANC (active noise cancellation) and transparency mode, and of course various Google smart features.
Sound quality 12/10! They are among the best buds I have worn (I also have the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, some Xiaomi models, and have had the chance to try some Sony ones as well). The only downside with the sound is that it doesn't go EXTREMELY loud, yes it goes loud but not extremely, in contrast to Samsung where I would have them at 85% and it's more or less the same as 100% on Google. But as I mentioned above, the sound is unbelievable.
The noise cancellation is simply wonderful, it's like experiencing silence for the first time with headphones.
The transparency mode is as if you're not even wearing the headphones, at one point I forgot that I was wearing them. Speaking of "forgot that I was wearing them," they are very comfortable. It may take a little effort the first few times to learn how to put them on exactly, but then it's a simple movement (similar to the Galaxy Buds) and 1st they don't come off and 2nd they are very comfortable. The battery life is long, very long actually if you take a few breaks and put them in the case for a bit. Meetings, gaming sessions, and calls with noise cancellation last for hours and hours. Also, since they are Google, they initially integrate very well with Google devices and then they have many smart features, such as if someone comes to talk to me and I have the headphones on with ANC (noise cancellation), the headphones can recognize that and pause the music + activate transparency mode, or there is a setting where the headphones detect the position of the head (lying down, tilted, normal, etc.) and adjust the balance and EQ for a smoother experience. These features MUST be activated by you, they are not open by default.
I have been using these headphones daily for a year at work (meetings, calls, music) and they are absolutely satisfactory. The sound quality is excellent with strong bass, the ANC is worth it especially in noisy environments where you can work without disturbances or on long flights where it filters out the airplane noise very well (lasts 3-4 hours max with Non stop use). Quality construction and comfortable for long-term use, even convenient for outdoor running as sweat does not bother them. The minor negatives are the white case which may pick up color from your pocket and the fact that sometimes switching connection between 2 devices is delayed.
Everything works fine. Just know that if you want to connect them to your laptop as a headset and you have Ubuntu operating system, the sound plays but not the microphone.
Very good headphones. They can be connected simultaneously to two devices so that you can use them to listen to music from your computer and answer calls from your mobile. Very good battery life and fast charging. I use them with Pixel 8 pro, Pixel Watch 2, and Macbook Pro.
I tried them for €170 in May 23rd, I use them every day and I can happily say that they were worth every euro. Before buying them, I had heard various reviews, mixed ones. Most of them were positive, but there were some negative reviews about the headphones that made me curious. However, I can confidently tell you now, after several months have passed, that they are the best headphones I have ever had. I am a music lover and I listen to music almost all day. These headphones are ideal. The sound quality is fantastic, the Noise Cancellation works satisfactorily, the transparency is as if you're not wearing headphones, the head tracking is also very good, the gestures work perfectly, and for the first time with headphones, people tell me that I sound better than before. And the highlight for me: the touch controls. Honestly, you can't imagine how convenient they have been for me. There is nothing better than changing the volume of the sound without touching your phone or pressing physical buttons. And of course, their battery life. It says 11 hours in the description, I would say it's around that, maybe a little less, but generally, because I have sleep issues and I wake up with them, they almost always still have battery. That's it from me. If you like Google products, if you are a music lover who wants to listen for hours without a big headset, if you have an Android and want some of the best headphones on the market, I highly recommend them
Their real value does not exceed 50€. Good build quality, although the material of their case even sticks dust from the fabric of jeans (I didn't even know that jeans shed until now). They connect easily and the multipoint is very useful. They fit strangely in the ear, but once they are in, they sit well. However, that's where the positives end. Their sound quality is extremely mediocre. They play much worse and much quieter than the QCY T13 that I bought for 15€. They have very good bass, but the mids and especially the highs sound muffled and compressed. In calls, they told me that I sound average, even though I was in the quiet of my home. Their transparency mode is just there to say that they have it. It sounds awful. It collects and amplifies the environmental noise and disturbances, while you can't hear people well, like an old cheap microphone. The ANC is OK, although the truth is that I have no point of comparison. Their battery drains in front of your eyes. They don't last more than 3-4 hours, and the case only fully charges them once. I am in the process of returning them now, as I am waiting for them to come and pick them up. They are not worth 180€ for any reason.
The sound quality is very satisfying, I have no complaints.
The noise cancellation is very good, if you're listening to something like music, you won't understand what's happening around you. I wouldn't recommend it if you're walking on the street because you won't hear if a car is coming. So be careful! If there's a strong wind or a modified engine or an airplane, you'll hear it if you have low volume music.
The ambient sounds were incredible, at first I thought I wasn't wearing anything, I could hear everything.
They don't bother me at all, I can feel that I'm wearing them but they don't tire or hurt me during prolonged use.
I have connected them to my mobile phone and computer, and they automatically connect when I open YouTube on my computer, it plays from there, and when I pause and play something on my phone, I hear it from my phone. If you're on the computer and receive a phone call, it automatically connects to the call (if you answer it, of course).
Both the earphones and the case charge very quickly, the case holds for 2-3 charges and the earphones are difficult to say, but they should last around 6 hours. I say this because when you take them out, you'll put them in their case and they will charge, so it's difficult to say how long they last.
I decided to buy these specific headphones to experience the complete Google experience, and I have to say the following (comparing them to the Sony WF-1000XM3 that I own): The connectivity is flawless with all devices, whether Android or iOS. They fit well in the ear and don't fall out during workouts, however, I found the sound quality to be lower than my expectations, as well as the volume and ANC. Overall, I am somewhat disappointed, but I still use them as my main headphones for their discreet appearance and the connectivity/features they offer!
Given their high price I had great expectations regarding their quality. Despite the noise canceling and their batteries endurance which are both quite effective I have got serious trouble regarding the fitting and connectivity.
They are not sweat resistant at all they keep popping out while running. Then they get frequently disconnected from Samsung iOs device which is quite irritating especially when talking. Overall buy something else at this price !!
I am impressed with these amazing headphones, I was torn between these and the galaxy Buds pro 2, which are 20 to 30 euros cheaper. Thankfully, I didn't get them! They are incredibly comfortable in the ear, you truly forget you have them on during calls, and the sound quality is flawless. The battery life is also very satisfying so far, as I use them almost all day due to work. It's simply a one-way street if you have an Android, I have an S22Ultra and I haven't experienced any disconnections. As soon as I put them in my ear, they connect automatically!
Very good music quality that adjusts according to the genre you are listening to with the 5 band eq. In default, it has increased bass and treble, which is perfect for hip hop. I use them with Pixel 7 and windows, and the connection process was practically automatic, and multipairing works amazingly. Beautiful case and design, as well as a good fit (it has 3 different ear tips). Tremendous noise cancelling, especially with music, the person next to you has to shout for you to hear them. I highly recommend it
Finally, the first truly good set of headphones after the Airpods. Excellent sound, excellent microphone, excellent noise cancellation, excellent easy setup on both Apple and Android devices, and finally multi-device pairing! Now that the price is below 200€, it's a no-brainer compared to anything else on the market, even those priced over 300€ (Apple, Bose, Sony, etc).
I bought them for 220 as soon as they came out. I haven't tried any other similar category ones, only some <100€ ones.
They are the most discreet-looking ones I have tried and have the best ANC. I work at weddings and with ANC and music at a moderate to high volume, I completely lose all the noise.
They fit comfortably in the ears, but during exercise, they fall out after a while.
