Anti-skid snow chains are placed on the driving wheels of the car, enhancing traction on the road when it is covered with snow and ice. Their installation is relatively easy, but it is necessary to have tried them beforehand so that we are familiar with their installation.

An important criterion in choosing snow chains, apart from the compatible size of our tire, is the diameter (thickness) of the chain we will choose. Usually, chains with a thickness of 12mm and above offer more effective traction and better penetration into the snow compared to the "thinner" diameter chains. Their installation is not recommended for lowered passenger vehicles or vehicles with low-profile tires.
