Cleaning and sterilization of the pacifier:

Good hygiene of the pacifier includes regular cleaning. The smaller the baby, the more important it is to protect the pacifier from bacteria and maintain good hygiene. Before first use, the pacifier should be sterilized.

Latex is a natural material that can break at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore, latex pacifiers should not be sterilized in a microwave, steam cleaner, UV sterilizer, or sterilization solution.

Sterilizing the pacifier involves 3 simple steps:

• Place the pacifier in a clean bowl.
• Pour hot water over the pacifier and let it soak for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pacifier onto a clean towel and let it dry.

If water has entered the nipple (through its valve), squeeze the nipple with the towel until the water is removed.
