Firstly, it doesn't absorb the products and I have seen improvement in both my skin and hair as they don't tangle like before. (I have very long hair) and of course, the quality and packaging show that you get what you pay for. It needs to be changed every 7-10 days and after some research, I learned the following: Wash with a silk-specific detergent. Hand wash and use white vinegar as a fabric softener. Very good quality pillowcase. As for the cost, generally silk ones are expensive and their prices vary. For a cool sleep and skin-friendly, silk pillowcases are just what you need. I also bought from another company for testing, but they weren't good. These specific ones are soft to touch.
