White pepper has a unique aroma and quite a spicy flavor. It is produced from the same tree as black pepper, from more mature fruits that have their outer casing removed and then dried.

It is suitable if you do not want to add intensity to your food. It pairs well with white sauces, tzatziki, béchamel, cheese pies, as well as with chicken and fish.
