It is disgusting. It is not even transparent. It is not gel-like in texture. It is not lightweight. It feels heavy like vaseline. It smells like lanolin. It doesn't dry at all. It doesn't absorb at all. You feel it all the time as if you just applied it.
Overall, it turns yellow and is heavier than rich cream textures.
Unacceptable for a gel-like texture.
The scent of it is very heavy, I really can't understand why someone would fragrance a facial sunscreen so intensely, I tried it on my hand and even after washing it three times, it still smells. Its texture doesn't resemble gel, it comes out in pieces from the tube and doesn't spread well, and even though my skin is dry, it becomes oily with this sunscreen.
I have oily skin and this sunscreen was one of the worst I have tried. It doesn't absorb well, leaves a very unpleasant feeling, and doesn't sit well under makeup. It has a strong, irritating fragrance, like a women's perfume, without any reason to be in a facial cream, which can also affect allergic skin. I tried it with and without moisturizer. The same greasy feeling. It's like oil. I need to blot my face several times throughout the day to get rid of the shine, which can also reduce its effectiveness. It also irritated my eyes without even applying it close to them.
Terrible sunscreen. It is similar to frezyderm, with a velvety texture, but it does not compare to frezyderm. The only good thing is that it has a nice scent. Initially, I applied a small amount on my hand, and with one motion, ALL the amount I had put on fell off, it didn't stay on my hand like when I took it out of the tube, without spreading it, of course. Then, when I applied it on my face, it clumped up immediately when I rubbed it. The more you try to spread it, the worse it gets. When I tried to wash it off with a facial cleanser, it irritated my eyes terribly. I do NOT recommend it, unless you want it for the beach in case you don't have anything else to use. Avoid the eye area. It's much better to spend 10 euros more to get a better one that won't irritate your eyes and will spread evenly.
I am completely divided about this sunscreen. If I could, I would give it 2.5 stars.
On the positive side:
- I have oily skin and for the first time, I saw a sunscreen that stayed on my skin like this. I came back home after 6-7 hours and I didn't see any greasiness, something I never believed I would see on my skin even without sunscreen.
- It has a velvety texture.
- It requires a small amount, so it is economical.
On the negative side:
- If you apply too much, it becomes clumpy. One day I used two pumps, wore a mask to go to work, and when I arrived, it had clumped almost entirely, and I had clumps in my hair and on my clothes all day. Also, forget about applying makeup on top of it. I tried to apply a little powder and it clumped as well.
- The fact that you can't apply a lot of it (even though it is economical) concerns me regarding its sufficient protection.
- The worst of all, it stings incredibly in the eyes. The first time I tried it, I applied it under my eyes because obviously, that area needs a lot of protection. A little while after I went outside, it moved and started an unbearable stinging sensation that lasted for about 2 hours, even though I tried to rinse my eyes with water and tissue. And in general, I looked as if I had smoked something or had some allergic reaction, which I don't usually have. So now I have to wear another sunscreen on my eyes, which makes the application process time-consuming.
In conclusion, I don't know if I would buy it again. I will struggle with it some more to find the right way to apply it, so that the packaging doesn't go to waste. If I find another option, I will come back and see if it's worth the trouble of applying another one on my eyes, since I can avoid excess greasiness.
It is very good, I bought it in this color but it is much heavier on the face. It spreads perfectly and leaves the skin perfectly smooth and moisturized. It might be a bit heavy for the summer, but during the cold months, I feel like it protects me from the dryness of the air.
Initially, I bought this sunscreen based on the reviews for my mother, who no matter what she puts on her face, as soon as she sweats, it comes off and doesn't sit well on her. So, I decided to try this cream. I have no bad impressions. I happened to forget my own sunscreen at home, so I thought it was a good opportunity to try what I got for her... I don't know what happened, but I felt like putting it all over my face because I liked the texture, the scent, and the feeling it left on my face. Here, I can say that my mother has oily skin while I have combination skin... So, I went and got one for myself, regardless of the fact that I haven't finished the three sunscreens I still have open!
The product I received is not gel. It has a "granite" appearance, as shown in the photo, and it seems to be damaged or altered. I have used the same product in the past and it was not like this. I am very disappointed with my purchase.
