TLDR: One of the very good and reliable choices for socket 1700 and for overclocked (for those who want to take risks with the 13th-14th generation :p) with drawbacks being the high currents on Intel's already vulnerable processors and the high price above 400 euros until recently. Now, in detail, I have had this specific mobo for 5 months combined with a 14700K and 6400hz ram, so here we go: Regarding quality, it is a very sturdy and beautiful mobo, it fit easily in the case as well as every consumable part on it without problems. The ports and pins are quite sufficient to cover every connectivity and RGB need, the M.2 ports are more than enough, 5 in number, and overall it was a pleasant surprise to set it up. In terms of RAM, it was tested up to 7200mhz without any problems tested with memtest86, and generally, the setup was stable at all stages since the day it was purchased, 3 different bios updates have already been released +1 factory version that tries to solve Intel's degradation problem and temperature issues. Regarding overclocking, I reached 5.8 on the optimal cores and 5.7 on the others with temperatures getting high even though a 420 be quiet liquid cooling is used, so I switched it back to Intel's profile as besides the high temperatures, the vcore was on average close to 1.5v during demanding processes. It has really many USB ports that will cover every need, wireless wifi which was not tested but from research on the internet, I saw that it is more than satisfactory, good temperatures, zero coil whine, and overall it satisfied me in all aspects. The bios is the classic Asus one with plenty of configurations, the optimal version of the bios is 1503 (a newer one has been released, but 1602 is still beta and the currents are all over the place). Finally, I should mention that of course, there are more economical options like the Z790-H gaming series and the very decent gigabyte z790 where I recently built 2 machines without problems. Overall, it will leave you satisfied, but the price will be a concern if we consider that similar Asus series like the formula series had about 200 euros less. Happy shopping and I hope I helped. p.s. it’s good to wait for the next Intel series for those who want an Intel machine, otherwise skip and choose something from AMD.
