The Chuck Taylor All Star is one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, recognized for its clear silhouette and cultural authenticity.
Origin
Created in 1917 as a non-slip basketball shoe, the All Star was initially advertised for superior on-court performance by basketball mastermind Chuck Taylor. But over the decades, it "escaped" the four lines of the court and became one of the most historic shoes in the history of sneakers.
Classic features, new shades
The classic colors, materials, the quality of the vulcanized rubber sole, and of course the well-known logo on the side, which make up the Chuck Taylor All Star, are a celebration of self-expression and personal style. Low or high, in a multitude of colors and editions over the years, they have been worn and loved by many. They are versatile and classic and can be worn any way you want, anywhere you want, anytime you want. A hundred years later, these shoes are still at the forefront of fashion. More color choices, more ways to celebrate your individual expression and personal style.

For me, a shoe that will always be in fashion. I bought it for my boyfriend for the second time, I also have it in countless colors, we love them and I believe we will continue to wear them for many more years!
•Guys, I've had them for 1 year and they are truly the best shoes I've ever worn in my life.
•I never understand those who say that canvas shoes are generally tiring. I often feel like I'm not wearing shoes at all. Imagine, I work as a waiter and they are always my first choice to keep my feet comfortable. I've worked 11-hour shifts in them and I've never felt tired or in pain.
•And as for the insoles, that's what makes them so comfortable. Without all the fuss like Nike or basketball shoes generally have with anatomical soles and air soles and such weird things. A simple insole, but you feel like your foot is walking on a soft and stable layer.
•The quality of construction is the best! The interior has a thin sponge-like padding that relaxes your foot from the ankle to the toes, and they are SUPER EASY to wear, they don't squeeze you or tighten at all.
•I specifically got the dark blue ones and I assure you that the color is much more beautiful and "full" than it appears in the picture, so they also look good.
•And of course, they match with many clothes and colors by design. After all, that's why they haven't changed their style too much over the years. And like all canvas shoes, if they get dirty, you just throw them in the washing machine, and if you want, you can get new laces if the old ones haven't cleaned well, and they look like new (and they don't fade)!
•And of course, it's worth mentioning that for their price, they are top-notch. I should say that for such quality, I would pay even more money (but let's not give ideas to the sellers).
•Honestly, the only downside I can think of is that sometimes the socks make a squeaky sound when they rub against the sole ??
Classic value, a must, winter and summer, for twenty years now a loyal fan. With three footnotes:
- I double-check that they are authentic - there are safeguards because you never know. As a rule, authentic ones do not wear out easily for me, e.g., sole breakage, detachment, etc.
- I wait for discounts to buy them otherwise it's not worth it, they are canvas, come on.
- I always wear them with anatomical insoles.
I have been wearing All Star almost exclusively for 15 years. Only with these do I feel every stone I step on. I am not very satisfied. But they are beautiful and classic.
It is quite comfortable to walk in and does not wear out quickly. I have had these shoes for 1 year + and I am satisfied. I wear size 45, but I got size 46 and they feel like 45.5, so get them one size bigger
You know you're not getting them for comfort or durability. More for style and timelessness. Personally, I enjoy them and they go well with everything.
These are very nice shoes, they are authentic Converse and the color is just wonderful, they are very comfortable and they arrived very quickly. Within 2 days they arrived from Thessaloniki to Larissa. The only real “issue” I had is that I didn’t find my size (I normally wear 37.5) but with converse I always size down to 37 because they fit me better and are more comfortable, the problem is that there was no size 37 available so i had to buy 38, and they are kinda big on me but thats not a very big deal. In general i am very satisfied with the shoes and I will most likely order again
Two months later i have changed my opinion. It is true that they are comfortable and beautiful but the construction is so bad. I have worn them for roughly 2 months and they are now ripped. And its not like a small rip, its a huge one, i cant weat them anymore so i will likely throw them out. I would not recommend buying these especially for that outrageous price. And the problem isnt even the price, the problem is that they lasted only two months of wearing.
In general, it's okay. After not even a year, the sole disintegrated and tore in various places. This happens in almost all of their shoes. I don't think it's worth telling the truth...
A fabric and plastics that peel off, tear, etc. in less than two months. Very poor construction quality, it goes without saying that what they claim is not worth it in any case. They are manufactured in Vietnam by a cheap production line.
I had many of these, boots, low shoes, and none of them lasted me three months. There are similar anonymous brands that are of higher quality and more affordable. Stay away.
From an appearance perspective, I have nothing to say, timeless and beautiful.
I have had them logically for about 1 year now, maybe more, and I have to say that I have some minor issues with the rings (of the laces, I don't know what they are called, excuse me).
One has broken perfectly in the middle, and the others have simply bent, maybe I got a bad piece, I don't know.
Overall, their construction is average, for their price the construction and comfort are a bit meh, but overall, they are okay, I recommend them, but just know that they may not be very convenient and they are somewhat fragile.
I had not bought All Star for a decade and something.
The sole has improved compared to the old ones, it is more comfortable. What left a bad impression on me is that my foot sweats, while in the older ones I had, it didn't sweat even when it was very hot outside.
Purchase on 31-10-2017 and today (2023) it is in the condition shown in the photo. Moderate use, winter and summer! They turned out really well in the end!! Comfortable and lightweight. A very good purchase
Classic Converse, classic color. Perfect, I really liked it. It feels like it glides a little more on wet ground compared to other classic Converse shoes that I had and still have all these years, but nothing tragic or dangerous.
I bought them last year on sale for around 36-39 euros, somewhere in between. Okay, we're talking about a rock-bottom price, the boots used to cost around 40 euros over 10+ years ago. In recent years, their prices have skyrocketed, almost reaching an extra 20 euros, both for boots and low-top sneakers. Personally, considering the inflation levels of our times, I consider them a value for anything around 50 euros and below (at least these specific classic Converse shoes, which are canvas and rubber, in all their colors).
Comfortable for sneakers. It is not a sports shoe so I don't wear it for exercise or running. But for walking and for work, it is very good and looks very nice on the foot.
Okay, they are nice, the classic all stars. They are not for walking and the sole is too thin. Overpriced for their price. With the same money, you can buy a much more comfortable and equally beautiful shoe.
Sorry, but I am using an online translator. The shoes are just like in the photo and description, they arrived according to the schedule, excellent construction.
The worst shoe on the market, in terms of quality, durability, and convenience. I have countless shoes, whatever brand you can imagine. I have never encountered such poor quality. 3 pairs, all with the same issues. The sole came off, the front connection broke, and the insole wore out straight away. The only shoes I have thrown away due to wear and tear. Stay away!
I had not bought Starakis shoes for sure for over five years. I don't know if the improvements I noticed always existed for this particular all-black shoe, but I have to point them out!!
1. The shoes are clearly lighter. The sole on the older shoes was noticeably heavier.
2. A loop has been added to the tongue to keep it stable. The tongue on these shoes always used to slip to the side.
3. The sole and the insole give you the impression that they are made of gel during the first wear. So soft. No comparison to the previous soles that were rigid.
Now it is not just a timeless shoe with attitude, but it is a very good shoe overall.
It's perfect! When I wore them, they were perfect, not tight, it's very easy to put them on and take them off, they have long laces which I like and it's worth its shape! I'm thrilled!
Very shapeless shoe that can be worn with almost anything but... I bought it twice (they were definitely authentic for 70€) and after about a month, the sole came off both times at the front.
