Well, the PlayStation 5 is good. But guys, a little economy in the space it was in (I mean, the packaging is very large, you need a car to take it home)
Surely the best console at this moment, with perfect graphics ((with the right television))
it is a very fast console, in 5 seconds it will be in the game you want to play!!!
it doesn't lag like the 4 for no reason
its negatives are the controller, while it is very convenient, and its vibration is simply fantastic, the sticks unfortunately do not have a long lifespan, they suffer from the well-known "stick drift," meaning the sticks will not be precise and the camera or character may move without touching the controller, for a controller that costs 75 € today this is a bit bad, I don't know my opinion
other than that the console is very good and useful!!!
for those who want to buy the PS5 PRO..... just don't do it.... only if you are those who always want to play at maximum graphics, but for the money it will cost ((800 €)) it's not worth it
Although the design of the console is somewhat strange, it makes for an interesting decorative piece lol. Aside from the joke, the main reason I upgraded from PS4 to 5 was for the better performance of existing games (and a few that are only accessible on the new generation), and I can say it’s worth every €. The console's performance is excellent! Loading screens are almost nonexistent, fps is high, everything is great! Overall, quite a few quality of life improvements like automatic rest mode
Compared to the original PS5, which had 825GB of storage, the PS5 slim has 1TB and also the updated DualSense v2 controller, which has a larger battery and stronger springs in the triggers (R2, L2) for greater reliability. However, the original PS5 with its continuous plastic without the cutouts was a bit more quality in terms of construction but also a little quieter.
Where to start! I have been a PlayStation series owner since I was 6 years old (PS1, to give you an idea of what ancient times we're talking about), which introduced me to the world of gaming. After that legendary console, I moved on to the PS3, which, of course, fascinated me at the time. However, for some reason, I never went on to buy the PS4, even though I heard so many good things about it and I really wanted to experience it. I snubbed it and went straight to the PS5, which luckily, my sister (Saint Christmas) left under the tree for me on New Year's Day! We're talking about a different kind of excitement here. First of all, it got the slim and Blu-ray version without even knowing it (Thank God). Quiet, very lightweight, it can be placed either vertically or horizontally depending on preferences and what suits everyone, beautiful design. In terms of the console in general, it doesn't seem to disappoint at all, the feel of the controller is something else, especially in multiplayer games or battles, the weapons you use depending on the genre require more "resistance" and all of this makes it even more realistic. Unfortunately, there haven't been enough games released for this specific console yet, even though the PS5 has been out for about 3 years, if I'm not mistaken. More games should have been released by now, but that's not the console's fault. The 4 stars are given only because there is always a possibility for improvement, such as making the sensations on the controller even more sensitive and being able to adjust small details on the PS, like color intensity, through updates. Value for money? Definitely, especially if you have a love for video games, you will love it and not just have it sitting there to decorate your space. Let's hope for new batches of games because it's a shame..
Wishing you all happy gaming!
Good performance, but the disc drive is not audible at all. Loading times are not even worth discussing. The controller is worth it, as you can play PS4 games with it. This specific model has more storage capacity, so I think it's the perfect time for anyone who doesn't have a PS5 to get one, especially now that the price has dropped
After a few months, it remains one of the best consoles I have purchased. The graphics of the console and the controller are the first part of the PS5 that will impress. As for the games, even someone who had the PS4 could use the games of this console until they start buying their PS5 games. In general, if someone is thinking about buying a console with which they want to have a nice gaming experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend buying the PlayStation 5 Slim, because it will often provide more than what they are looking for and in the best quality
The console has nothing to envy from the previous 2 "fat" versions. On the contrary, it is more compact and in my personal opinion, more beautiful. Functionally, it runs exactly the same as the previous versions. Essentially, based on Sony itself, it is the official successor to the fat versions with the additional option to upgrade or downgrade to the retail digi version respectively.
Whether it's worth the money or not is up to each individual's judgment. Personally, it satisfied me.
Very good, much better than the old one, smaller, more storage space, and overall it is better in everything, having the same performance. It is also quiet, it only makes noise when downloading a game with a disc, and minimal when playing it. Lastly, it DOES NOT OVERHEAT!!
Coming from the PS4, which I had purchased in 2017, I had high expectations for this particular console as the PS4 had very advanced technology and graphics for its time. The truth is that I was not disappointed at all, as the gameplay that the PS5 offers, the graphics, and the overall experience are more than worth the 500+ euros it costs. Many times I compare the gameplay to ice skating as it is very smooth and without any lagging. There are huge differences overall compared to its predecessor, such as in the EA FC24 game, which lagged a lot and froze quite often on the PS4. In conclusion, I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a very good console that will fully satisfy them. The only negative thing I noticed is the relatively small variety of games, which I believe will change in the near future.
The only deterrent at first was the size of the console and the few games it had. Three years later, I decided to get it to give my PC a break and I don't regret it at all! In combination with an OLED TV and a Dolby Atmos soundbar, it's pure enjoyment (definitely play Ratchet and Clank)
For those of you who are thinking of upgrading from PS4 to PS5 or getting a PlayStation for the first time, I will explain in detail what you need to know. Now, if you have a PS4 - I'm also talking to you.
Firstly, it has a 1TB disk which I think should have been more, but it doesn't affect me because I play with discs and I believe everyone should do the same for many reasons. It has perfect graphics, easily handles 4K 60 Fps, and the user interface is on another level. Top performance. It doesn't get too hot in terms of temperature, even though it's still winter, but it's a beast. It has a good and fast SSD nvme. It is beautiful, like seeing something from the future. It has Backwards Compatibility, so those of you who had a PS4 can play 99% of the games and if you had an account, you can log in and have the games you had. It also has a huge variety of games. The price is relatively good, but it will decrease in the future and will be worth more.
Now, for those who want to upgrade from PS4 to PS5, I would highly recommend it as this is top-notch, but if you want, wait for the price to drop a little more. For those of you who don't have a PlayStation, it's a one-way street and I wonder what you're waiting for. Now, for those of you who want to know the differences between this and the regular one. It's simply smaller, has less weight, and has a slightly larger SSD. You can also remove the part where the discs go. In a little while, this won't be the Slim version, it will be the regular one, and the regular one will be taken off the market as this is simply better. If you don't know whether to get the Slim or the regular one, get this one. If you have the regular one and you see this and are considering if it's better, it doesn't make any sense to get it. Just if you need more storage space and don't want discs, add an extra SSD. That's all from me, I hope I covered everything for all of you!
Although coming from the first version of the Fat model, I can say I did not regret it for a moment when I upgraded to the new model. I don't know how Sony managed it, but the machine looks smaller up close than it did in the videos. Yes, it is more elegant. Here we have a 1TB hard drive, a slightly faster disc drive, better console ventilation due to larger openings on the covers, and a new 6nm processor. If you have the previous model, there is no need to buy this one, as the differences are mostly in the smaller size and there are no significant changes. If you are a new potential buyer and do not have the older model, you can go blindly with the new Slim model.
I would recommend it to those who don't have a PS5 yet as it has more advantages compared to the old one, such as the space from 825GB to 1TB. Overall, it is an upgrade of the previous version
I bought the version with the disc drive for the price of 549 euros.
The console is good, but Sony's tactic of making a big deal out of small things continues.
* It costs 50 euros more in Europe than in America.
* There is a separate charge for the round vertical stand, and the horizontal stand with the two flimsy plastic legs that Sony provides is laughable and cheap.
* It is advertised as a 4K-120 or 8K-60Hz product, which is probably the most important aspect.
No! It is actually a product that has a maximum resolution of 4K-60Hz, which is difficult to achieve, as it has been proven (due to the software developers' responsibility). The hardware theoretically only supports resolutions of 4K-120 or 8K-60Hz. Anyone who wants them in games and also has a screen-TV-cables that support them, must wait for a hardware upgrade to ZEN3 or whatever else the mother decides (2024?). Otherwise, there will be a decrease in graphics quality.
The cooling seems good at first glance, but it seems borderline. I didn't have the previous PS5 to say if anything has changed. Without pushing the console even a little with long hours of gameplay and at a higher resolution than 4K 60Hz, a lot of hot air comes out from the back. It is fine in terms of noise.
And now for Sony's maximum stupidity/mistake, part of which some videos mentioned, but without the emphasis I expected: The main box of the packaging (the interior, the exterior is colored cardboard-cover) does not come out easily from the exterior. Why? 1. Because the packaging doesn't have a handle (you have to hold the box in your arms if you buy it from a store!) and 2. Because the external cardboard box has flaps on both sides that connect it to the top side from which you open it to take it out. There is no effective way to put your hand anywhere. Not even from the bottom, which has a hole to show the serial number. So, either you have to turn it upside down, or you have to tear the external cardboard or two people have to handle it at the same time, one holding the external and one pulling the internal. And the plastic HANDLE got stuck and made it difficult to remove the box from the cardboard cover with the design of the 2 side flaps.
Why did Sony do this, I'm scratching my head, I can't find a logical answer.
But there is no logic even in the +175 GB that were added to the console's storage space. The first version should have had 1TB and the second one should have had 2TB (at the same selling prices, of course).
The whole logic is "squeeze the customer for every last dollar/euro" and let them wait for the next, improved version, where they will receive some of the things we deprived them of in the current one.
DualSense controller: it was the 1B version (the original was the 1 and had drifting issues which I think were improved in the 1A).
If anything else comes up, I will come back.
