1. Fast charging.
2. User-friendly, washes easily. Some say it smells, well no, when you wash such a machine you leave it open overnight to dry.
3. Yes, you can't get a good shave with one pass, it takes a few repetitions, as if with a classic razor you can do against the grain in one go? I saved on razor blades, enjoying the touch of the machine, like getting a massage on my face.
4. I'm not saying it's either vfm or the best, without having tried more expensive and professional ones (Panasonic, etc.).
I knowingly bought the cheapest Philips machine, having a very good older one, but only for dry shaving.
5. I thought that not being able to use it with the charging cable was a downside. For these machines that complete their job in over 5-8 minutes, it's not an issue. For clippers, I don't know, I'll find out when I buy one for beard and body.
6. I think its spare parts are cheap. As the model ages, they become more expensive, until they disappear. That's why I didn't keep the previous one; buying replacement heads was unprofitable, besides the fact that it wasn't washable, a serious advantage of this one.
7. Regarding durability and reliability, it's still early. I trust Philips, anyway, time will tell.
Decent shave, somewhat rough (I note that I have coarse and thick facial hair). Probably a little worse than my old decade+ Philips razor. It requires quite a few passes to achieve a good result. An advantage is the cordless operation. Easy to clean. Personally, I only use it dry because if it gets wet, it starts to smell.
