I had read good reviews and that's why I got it, I bought TCL for the first time and I don't think I'll buy it again. After two months, the board broke and it's going for repair, it generally had freezes and the battery drains quickly, the camera is average and the build quality is average. At 180 that I got it from Germano, I believe there are better options.
A regular phone for classic and reasonable daily use of the phone, Facebook, messaging. I won't buy it again because the battery doesn't last even a day. This has happened to me for the first time with a phone. I won't prefer this specific brand again because phones unfortunately are now also functional tools, and it's not possible to run out of battery during the day.
I've had it for two months, and I had to return it to the store where I bought it during the first week to check the battery, and it was returned to me after a month with nothing changed. The battery, with reasonable use without video, needs charging twice a day. Tragic!!! The photos are nothing special either. Probably the TCL 20+ I had before was significantly better. But as we said... with €140, you can't expect something much better.
I may have had most devices pass through my hands, but I have never seen such a screen. Truly, TCL did what no one else has been able to do until now. Generally, if I didn't know its price, I would say it easily surpasses 500 euros. Perfect in every way.
2 very basic shortcomings in the software that negatively affect the overall experience despite the incredible quality of the screen.
1. there is no double tap on the screen to open-close.
2. there is no form of screen shrink for one-handed operation.
This particular phone - like the corresponding tablet - has next paper technology which is quite comfortable for the eyes and is this feature that makes it stand out. However, the other features are not that competitive. The battery, for example, lasts half a day, the touchscreen sometimes has a slow response resulting in you having to tap and tap again until the command is given. There was also a connectivity issue with other devices, for example, even with the tablet from the same company. For its price, it is relatively fair but I would not choose it again.
Almost perfect phone with features of expensive models like very good brightness in the sun & the photos in the dark are comparable to iPhone 12 Pro, and with a special protective case with a pen, it is worth 100% of course always in relation to the purchase price of €155
Another feeling, the screen is simply perfect, comfortable with vibrant colors, very powerful speakers, good battery, relatively fast for daily use.
The phone runs quite well, its screen is very convenient for reading, it doesn't strain the eyes, it's like reading a book, the cameras take pretty good photos with HDR and AI enabled if you have a steady hand, and the super macro also takes quite clear photos, and finally, its battery lasts quite a long time, easily making it through the day, and with power saving mode activated, it lasts even longer. For its price, I would say it’s definitely worth it and then some.
It's only worth it for the nxtpaper screen. Sometimes it shuts down abruptly. The camera sometimes doesn't save the photos anywhere. The battery lasts half a day to one day. It doesn't have 5g.
The mobile phone is very good and its screen does not strain your eyes

the only negative is the temperature
It rises from the first few minutes very easily temperature compared to the redmi note 10s I had before
I got it as a gift for my father to do his work, a little bit of Facebook, a little bit of Instagram, and to watch videos on YouTube. After a month of use, I have to say that the phone is awesome. Nice screen, nice colors, very good sound, and satisfactory battery! It also charges quite quickly. It lacks in the photos... you need to have a steady hand because they come out blurry, but for its price, it's perfect. It runs smoothly and doesn't freeze at all!
Very good mobile for its price, its battery lasts 2 days with excessive use, if you use it minimally, the battery will last you up to 4 days. Also, very good resolution on the screen and many other things, I recommend it to you
It doesn't have the best camera but it has such a beautiful screen and such a nice feel that you really don't put it down. The processor for phone use is great. I don't have an opinion on gaming because I don't play. For social media, internet, etc., it's flawless. Maybe because the company supports few phones, it's flawless. Much better than the realme c55 which has the same processor. My cousin has it and it's very much like that in everything. But what literally captivates me is the sound. It's the best for absolute enjoyment with the Dts system of the music tracks
Tcl is okay, I must say, but it still has a long way to go. Otherwise, it is decent, but let's not even discuss the processor.
The phone is amazing, the best screen I have used and seen on a phone, better than OLED because I also used a Samsung A52. I highly recommend it for someone who wants a casual phone with normal power, nothing crazy, and it doesn't lag.

Excellent screen technology. It is matte without reflections and does not strain the eyes! It also does not catch fingerprints. Fast without lagging. Dual speakers with 3D boom sound by DTS. Very good cameras even at night. In night mode, when you press to take a photo, it delays for 5" in order to capture as much light as possible, resulting in night shots without "noise". Very good battery and the package includes a 33-watt fast charger. I also got the official case with the stylus, which is simply amazing!
So, I got this model here 3 weeks ago with great reservation as I had the Samsung A04s since last February and it was slower than a turtle. I was disappointed because I got fooled by Samsung for the second time as I had the s9 before and I had to change the headset every 3 months, paying 45 euros, because they claimed it was clogged with sweat.. which was not true during the winter months of course. While I always took care of it and never put on makeup like a human to clog it with cosmetics as the technicians asked me.. The TCL 40 NXTPAPER simply rocks!!! I use it for everything!! Social, videos, games, photos, browsing, music, everything better than the Samsung A53 !!! It's fast, effortless, and charges in half an hour!! What can I say.. I'm impressed and it's the first time I'm getting TCL. Bravo to their company for this model!
