Revolution with gaming OLED
The Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) is the latest addition to the Odyssey series, featuring a dual curved quad-HD screen (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) 49” 1800R and an aspect ratio of 32:9. The OLED lighting with quantum dot technology is controlled pixel by pixel, allowing for an almost infinite color contrast ratio.
It also features a response time of 0.03ms (GTG) and a refresh rate of 240Hz to eliminate lag and skipping, equipped with an advanced Neo Quantum Processor Pro for bright whites, deep blacks, and stunning color contrast and flexible connectivity (HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, USB Hub, Samsung Gaming Hub, Smart TV).
The G95SC is incredible for gaming, combining the 240Hz refresh rate and exceptional image quality. It has an almost instantaneous response time leading to minimal motion blur and low input lag for a responsive feel.

Every millisecond counts when playing against the best: With a response time of 0.03 ms (GTG) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, OLED technology offers you breathtaking gameplay. Combined with Micro HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort ports, you can dodge, react, and attack faster in the offense.
AMD FreeSync Premium Pro ensures that fast action and complex gaming scenes are displayed consistently and smoothly, allowing you to react quickly.
Inspect and change game settings instantly. Now you can easily see the status of important settings such as FPS or HDR. Modify the screen ratio, enlarge the Minimap, or change the game picture mode without leaving your game screen (the screen ratio of the Game Bar can only be changed when Ultra Wide resolution is supported in the specific game or computer).
Keep your desk tidy with built-in speakers, avoiding the clutter of cables and external speakers. High-quality sound without installing new equipment.
Variety of connections: You can connect your favorite compatible devices to make your gaming experience even more exciting.
The amazing design of the Odyssey OLED matches your sense of elegance, featuring a premium and modern metallic finish with a thickness of just 4.5mm at its thinnest part. Impressive lighting for your gaming scenes: With CoreSync technology, you can add a personal touch to your setup with multiple color modes that transition from the screen to your reality.
With the Auto Source Switch+, your monitor detects when connected devices are powered on and immediately switches to the new source signal. This helps you get to the game action quickly without browsing through multiple input sources.

Although its price is very steep, I admit that I am ecstatic in front of it. One must get used to it first and overcome the awkward changes at the beginning.
- HDR: It takes time to get used to it and it definitely needs to be adjusted. In my case, the screen is very bright and the dark spots are missing, as if it is overly bright to the point of being washed out for no reason, just like that. Edit 27-11-2024: fixed with additional adjustment.
- Ultra Wide: Maximized windows are just laughable, as they fill in height, but in width, 1/4 on the left and right is black. It partially saves the situation in Windows 11, when by hovering over the button next to minimize, it gives you additional layout options. The result of looking from far left to far right to close the window is concerning.
- Contrast/Color: Excessive to the point of being problematic for vision. If brightness/color adjustments are not made from the screen settings, it is difficult for anyone to get used to it. Edit 27-11-2024: fixed with additional adjustment.
- Menu: After the last update, it offers sufficient options, but the control button is a big problem, as it is located behind the screen and is not convenient at all, while its handling is not good either, as it "misses" very often. On the plus side, it has options for screen protection from permanent ghosting. Edit 27-11-2024: I am forced to turn it off with stand-by only, resulting in it turning on unnecessarily when I connect with Remote. For on-demand shutdown, I have created a script with Shortcut Keys.
- Gaming: Coming from 2x27" at 1080p, the shift to 2x1440p HDR is a challenge for my graphics card. With an NVidia RTX 3060 12 GB, it reached its limits in Forza Motorsport 2023 (memory shortage), while the only way to achieve a speed of about 30 fps is to spend hours in the settings and combine it with Lossless Scaling for assistance. The color output personally did not appeal to me in HDR, but that was adjusted as well. Less problematic are the EA WRC where Lossless Scaling helps quite a bit, and F1 24, although it is quite well adjusted, needs help, but not from Lossless Scaling. To record with OBS after activating Lossless Scaling, I needed a profile for Game recording, Lossless Scaling window option, and cropping the source 1280 left and 1280 right, while for SDR I added an SDR Tone mapping filter during recording.
If anything changes, I will add accordingly to my review.
Undoubtedly the best monitor I have ever worked with. I first got its inferior sister (not OLED) but due to a dead pixel it was returned. After much deliberation, due to the OLED and the burn-in issue... I ended up doing it.
I don't regret it, the monitor is amazing, in colors, performance, and everything. With one source, with two, in settings - in performance.
It truly is a class above anything else, and far more ergonomic than two monitors. Yes - it is expensive, undoubtedly, but it is also in a category of its own and if you can try it, do it.
Excellent, I've had it for a few months and with PowerToys for layout using FancyZones or another similar program (like the one Samsung has) it is... incredible. If you work here - your criteria will definitely change a lot.
P.S. in games... okay - the immersion is on another level - respect!
Excellent! It takes a little time to get used to it, but after that, it's something else. In programming, it can handle everything needed simultaneously. In text (with 3 windows/applications open), it reaches and exceeds expectations. I don't have an idea about performance in gaming, but it saved me from the realm of cables with 2 and 3 monitors!
