  The watch is wonderful, but some functions after almost a month do not work properly, the heart rate monitor is completely wrong and understandably, and the sleep tracker adds hours to your sleep. Very stylish watch, charges incredibly fast. The battery lasts for 2 days, but it makes up for it by charging very quickly.   I have had it for a month now, so I have an opinion about the watch. Simply flawless!! I haven't experienced any disconnections as I read from other users, and I am actually impressed by the distance it remains connected to the phone since I usually leave the phone in the car and wander around doing various activities (over 20 meters if there aren't many obstacles, and in many cases, I see it connected and talking on calls even at around 30 meters, unlike the other hands-free devices I have which lose connection as soon as they are a few meters away from the phone - I am blown away by this!!!). Strong and clear sound on calls, clear and bright screen, quality and beautiful construction, super easy operation, and it has almost everything (I don't know what else someone could ask for). If you set it up with some third-party watch faces (from the playstore) which usually allow for many customizations both in appearance and mainly in functions (shortcuts, widgets, etc.), it becomes a "workhorse" for tasks and usage. I don't have anything to say about the battery; personally, I haven't been bothered by its autonomy (when I see it dropping, I will put it on the charger and in half an hour it will be great). I should mention that I have it "married" with a Xiaomi 13T.

  I will give it 2 stars... Coming from gt 2, I regret not going to GT5. First, it does not sync with the phone (xiaomi Redmi note 12). This resulted in me having to restart the phone or the watch constantly to connect. Second, the measurements are quite off. Connected with Poco F5 pro, the only "difficult" part is downloading watch faces, or maybe I just haven't spent enough time on it.. the battery is said to last a maximum of 55 hours anyway, so that's something we already know before buying it, how it will be marginally around 2 days, depending on each person's usage..   One month and something of use and I am ready to go back to my old Smartwatch (Amazfit GTS from 2019). The quality of materials is good, the battery lasts a maximum of 2 days, but the software is terrible. It is my first Wear OS watch and it makes me think about how much more user-friendly devices with proprietary OS are.

  It does not sync settings or data correctly, such as steps, heart rate, or weather. A couple of weeks ago, the Raise to Wake feature stopped working, no matter what settings I change or how many times I restart it, it doesn't fix it.   I have been using this watch since February 27th and now I think it's time for a review.
  Starting off, I would like to emphasize that I am a person with total vision loss. Therefore, I needed a watch that runs on the Google Wear OS operating system so that it is compatible with the TalkBack screen reader that all Android phones have pre-installed, allowing me to use it, something that this watch obviously has.
  Having addressed this issue, I will now move on to the positive aspects I have identified. The sport I practice is swimming in a pool, and I can say that the watch, in general, is accurate in its measurements. Sometimes it loses track a bit in counting the laps I swim, however, considering the fact that it is purely a smartwatch and not a watch specialized in this area or even an activity tracker, I can say that I am satisfied. The recording of heart rate, steps, and sleep, when it feels like measuring it, and I will explain why I say this in the negatives, all of these, in my opinion, are done with fairly good accuracy, and I declare myself satisfied.
  In terms of capabilities, most of the things it does are well above average for me, and one could say that it could possibly serve as a substitute for a mobile phone in times when we cannot have it on us. Everything that Google has created works very smoothly and without any delay, as well as most of the apps we download. Its battery life is quite good as well, as with everything open, it lasts about a day and a half. What impressed me from the very beginning is the speed at which it charges. In half an hour at most, it goes from 20% to full charge, no matter what charger I use, and this is one of its strongest features.
  Unfortunately, because nothing in this life is perfect, let's now talk about its negatives. A major drawback that has troubled me quite a bit is that at least 4 times a week, if you don't pay attention, the heart rate sensor does not work during sleep, resulting in it not measuring sleep at all and generally not measuring heart rate. The only solution to this problem is to turn off the watch every 2 to 3 days and then turn it back on. Pay attention, not a restart, it doesn't do anything. It's a shame because it greatly affects the experience, and if there is no update to fix it, I'm afraid we won't get along well.
  And I come to the second negative point, the updates. We are almost in the summer of 2024 and it still hasn't received the new version of the OS, something that competitors like Samsung and even OnePlus have offered for their watches. And because it uses exactly the same processor as the OnePlus Watch 2, I believe it is clearly Xiaomi's responsibility to provide this major upgrade.
  In other news that mainly concern me, many Xiaomi apps are not very accessible with TalkBack, leading me to resort to third-party solutions. I will simply mention the workout app, and draw your own conclusions. With a Samsung watch, such a problem does not exist, everything works perfectly, and there is simply no need to download an app, at least for training.
  And now, let's move on to the final conclusions. I do not regret buying this watch because I am a Xiaomi user and I wanted to create something like an ecosystem, and the cooperation with my mobile phone is excellent. Additionally, it fits very well on my wrist and seems to withstand despite not being treated particularly well by me, especially in the pool, it has taken quite a few hits but it endures.

  However, I would not recommend it so easily to someone else. If someone needed to use a smartwatch with the same software, I would recommend exploring options from Samsung or even the OnePlus watch, which also made its first attempt this year but for me had a much stronger entry into this space than Xiaomi. If someone does not necessarily need such a watch, including myself if I did not have vision issues, I would definitely look at another watch from Xiaomi like those in the S series or even Redmi, where you may not be able to download apps but you save on battery life with a huge difference because one lasts two days and the other a week at worst with everything open. Even better, you can go to other companies like Huawei or even Amazfit, which is funded by Xiaomi and having experience in the past with such a watch which obviously I practically could not use as it did not have a screen reading program, it made much better and more accurate measurements and certainly did not have that annoying issue with the sensor.

  In conclusion, I believe that Xiaomi made a quite dynamic entry into the wear OS smartwatch category and I look forward to seeing what new things it has to show this October when it will likely announce its successor. I may hold this company in high regard, however, I also have corresponding requirements and I believe it can do much better. I definitely expect some improvements in the accessibility of its applications and sincerely demand that the issue with sleep be addressed. Besides, what can I say if I have fallen into a defective model, but I do not think..

I bought the Xiaomi because I wanted to upgrade from the Huawei GT 2 and after seeing the reviews and the site I decided to buy it. Perhaps my biggest mistake was not buying the Huawei GT 4. The purchase was made in December 2023 and for the first month things were going well. Then the issues started. Firstly, the battery barely lasts a day with almost everything closed. Secondly, there are more disconnections than connections with the mobile phone at half a meter and of the same company. Thirdly, it has been restarting on its own for a month now without any reason. Fourthly, it is the second consecutive time that I do outdoor running and halfway through the route it exits the exercise and loses everything I have done up to that moment. Fifthly, it shows notifications whenever it wants, while on the mobile phone they come normally. The only thing that works correctly and I have tried several times is the NFC.   (Update 14/06/24. The screen of my Poco broke, so now I am using my old Redmi Note 5. With the Redmi, it does not restart when I put it on airplane mode at night. But the issue with the calibration on the treadmill unfortunately continues despite the 1-2 updates it has received...)

  The good things have been written, I will tell you the bad things.
  First of all, the battery without always on display and with 1 workout (about 100 minutes) lasts about 32-34 hours. So the 65 hours with Bluetooth is not true.
  With the Poco X3 NFC that I have and the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, when it is in airplane mode, the phone restarts.
  With the Redmi Watch 3 that I had before, it did not do that.
  Also, after running on a treadmill, it did not allow me to calibrate the distance.
  Which means that even though I had run 3.7 kilometers, it only saved 3.05.
  (On the Redmi Watch 3 that I have, it allowed me normally, but I had to calibrate each time.
  On the Amazfit GTR that I had previously with Zepp as the operating system, it allowed me and kept it relatively accurate.)
  Supposedly, they are the best as a company in watches.
  The Zepp with the Amazfit GTR that I had before was better.
  Let's hope they will make an immediate upgrade to both the application and the watch.

  This was purchased on 15/12/2023. At €270 from Electronet Pitsoulakis Robogiannakis. It is the Bluetooth model with batch 11/2023. First of all, it features the best processing in a smartwatch of 2023. Secondly, the usage I give it and my evaluation on it. Being a young person, I don't find it necessary to use the vital signs measurement sensors 24/7 unless recommended by a specialist. In this case, it would be good to receive this information with specialized equipment. Therefore, I constantly have them turned off (SpO2, Heart Rate, Sleep metrics, etc.) even though it counts steps and calories on its own. As for the software, it runs Wear OS 3.5 with the October security patch, and Xiaomi hasn't said anything about an upgrade, so we are waiting. (However, you can sideload applications, although it is not recommended.) Therefore, the connection of the watch to the phone is done through the Mi Fitness app and NOT with Google's Wear OS. It also runs continuously in the background. Despite all this, it doesn't consume battery. It provides Google Assistant, which personally helps me significantly in various matters. Instead of taking out your phone from your pocket to search, you press the button, ask, and the answer comes to you. So, as you can understand, it has a microphone and speaker, meaning it can also make calls. It also has NFC and supports Google Wallet. However, where it has helped me even more is in not constantly opening and closing my phone. It is now on silent all the time, and any notification that comes, appears on the watch with a gentle vibration. No sound from anywhere, nothing. And during calls, it vibrates with a pattern that you quickly get used to and know when it's a call and when it's not. BATTERY AND USAGE HOURS: It doesn't take long to charge.   This watch itself is average, the problems concern the surrounding factors, namely Xiaomi in general and mainly the Greek part and the necessary application, Mi Fitness.

  It does not connect to any other application, and the application must be running to synchronize, despite having Wear OS. OK.

  You marry the watch. You cannot close the application from the application itself, if you want to, you have to close it sideways. I have a Poco X3 Pro, as soon as the application, the Bluetooth or the watch shuts down, at some point the phone starts rebooting on its own. The only solution is to uninstall the Mi shi.. I mean fitness. I bought it from Xiaomi Greece, they basically tell me to factory reset a problem-free and almost empty phone to see what's wrong, and to download the UI version again, which takes at least ONE WEEK. It's not a rare issue. I tell them I will return it, they say OK. Sweat.

  Stay away, it's not worth it. If they deal with it, then you can deal with it. Unless you want to keep it constantly open and if something goes wrong, the phone opens and closes in the middle of the night on its own, until it burns the motherboard.

  The product I am evaluating is the silver one. So, one month later with this product and I have only the best things to say. It connects perfectly with the app on my phone, notifications are clear and never delayed, and the screen is amazing - even in sunlight, you can see everything clearly.
  The battery easily lasts for 4 days with everything turned on, and the charging is really fast, something I haven't seen in any other smartwatch. After many Huawei watches, we finally have NFC payments with the banks I have a card with - Piraeus, National Bank, Eurobank - you can pay just by touching the watch.
  The Google Wear OS is simply amazing, it does everything very quickly, like having a mobile phone on your wrist.
  As soon as I opened it for the first time, it received a major operating system update.
  In terms of appearance, the silver one is truly out of this world. It is one of the most beautiful smartwatches I have ever worn on my wrist.
  There are countless watch faces for all tastes, allowing you to transform your watch.
  I have no negatives to mention, except for the leather strap that it comes with from the factory, which personally, I did not like.

  I will only write the negatives because the positives have been mentioned:

  1) DnD sync: after one day, it stops working.
  2) Step count: it doesn't count steps from the phone, only from the watch. So, walking with a stroller equals 0 steps.
  3) No matter how many issue reports you make, you don't get a response from support.
  4) Many times, the temperature/weather remains outdated.
  5) You can't sync Mi Fit with Google Fit

  I was looking for a good quality watch for about a month because the gt2 was measuring everything wrong lately... I ended up with this one because I didn't want to buy a Huawei again and I couldn't use the Samsung apps... Now I realize that this smartwatch is truly amazing because until now I had a Huawei that was good quality, beautiful, and fast... Maybe the fact that it doesn't have a signal and needs to be charged is a downside... I will work with it a bit, test it at the gym, compare it, and I will come back for a better evaluation. So far, I am very satisfied

  The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is one of the most advanced Smart Watches with the Wear OS operating system available today. It has a very fast processor, a vibrant and bright display, ample memory, and plenty of storage space. The presence of the Google digital assistant is very practical!   Just received the smartwatch and filled with joy, I went to sync it, only to be left empty-handed. As an owner of an iPhone 8 Plus with iOS 16.7.1, with the recent download of Mi Fitness, I see that the app version is 3.19.3, which DOES NOT have the option to sync the watch. Checking the official Xiaomi website, I discover that the watch is compatible with version 3.20 of the app. Unbelievable things, for a watch that is launched in the market and still does not support pairing with iOS. Three stars are too many for a first encounter with the watch, and I will update once the company decides to upgrade the app so that the watch can be functional when connected to the phone.

  Update:
  One star for the sole reason that the watch is NOT compatible with iOS, even though it is mentioned in the product's features. Xiaomi's response was that the watch is NOT compatible (for now?) with iOS devices. The paradox is that while the watch's software IS compatible with iOS, the watch itself is not, as it pairs with the Mi Fitness 3.20 app (Android version), while the app on the iOS App Store is version 3.19. Therefore, I believe that at some point, the watch will be able to connect to iOS devices once Xiaomi upgrades the app to version 3.20 for the iOS environment.
