I have had this particular mobile phone for a week. So I will give some initial impressions because I haven't had it for a very long time.
I chose Motorola because I have a thing for it and I want to have either stock Android or something close to it. There is also Nokia, but I consider them to be three who talk and one who dances.
I was torn between this one and the g54, and I ultimately chose this one for two reasons. For the OLED screen and because it includes a charger in the package. (I'm not sure if I made the right choice).
I won't talk about its technical specifications, anyone can find them here in detail. I will say that my previous basic device was the Xiaomi mi a3. So my logic will be to say to what extent I feel like I upgraded.
I felt like I upgraded in terms of resolution and screen size, as well as the fingerprint sensor which was slow and kind of terrible on the mi a3. And that's where it stops.
The battery of the mi a3 is significantly better. This one is not bad, but it's not a good battery either. I would describe it as average. One test I always do is how much it drops when the phone is idle, mainly when you're sleeping. Here we have an issue. I used to leave the Xiaomi at 85% and when I woke up, it would barely drop to 84.
With the Motorola, it drops by 7-8%. That's not good, believe me.
Also, for 12 GB of RAM, if I say that the phone is a beast, I would be lying. It's faster for a second at most, compared to the mi a3 which has 4 GB of RAM and Snapdragon 665.
Now let's talk about whether I recommend someone to buy it. Generally, I think it's a solid phone. And I believe it's worth it overall.
However, if someone doesn't have a thing for having the cleanest possible Android, I think there are better options in this price range. Not many, but they exist.
Oh, and one last thing. The photos it takes are not terrible, but they're not anything special either.

7/1/24: After a few more days of use, nothing has changed. I still believe that the battery could be better. I repeat, it's not bad. But it's not the device's strong point. To put it simply, it's not the kind of battery that you have in mind that won't let you down if you leave the house with a low percentage, like 30%, and need to use the phone with data on.
And something I didn't mention earlier, one of the strongest features is its sound. Both in terms of volume and quality. Both with the speakers and when you connect headphones. Sometimes, at high volumes, the device buzzes a bit, but personally, I don't have an issue with it. I mention it for someone who might have a problem with it, that it's true.
And a clarification. I have spent my money on this phone and bought it. I'm not judging it as a competitor. I'm trying to be as objective as possible to help someone who is considering buying it and comes here to see what's going on. Otherwise, reviews don't make sense.
And to wrap up the topic, in the most important question of whether it's worth buying, the answer is as follows. There may be some details that could be better, but in my opinion, it's worth it 100%
Tragic mobile phone. It has issues with the Viber and WhatsApp applications. You receive a notification that you have a message and when you go to the application to check it, you have to wait several seconds until it shows up. When connected to Wi-Fi, you may receive a notification several minutes later that you have a message. Additionally, in Viber, when you swipe the message to the right to reply, it only works 2 out of 10 times. The rest of the time it freezes and doesn't respond, requiring multiple attempts. Lower than expectations for 12g RAM. It lags and is not faster than the previous one I had from another well-known company. For this price, there are better VFM options.
It is very good, I chose it for its processor and memory. You won't find another with these features at the same price.

It shatters the myth of expensive phones at all levels. Now there may be phones with better cameras or better gaming response (I am not in a position to evaluate that). It has incredible call sound quality and playback. Excellent 120Hz Oled screen, lightweight, friendly android, jack, radio, nfc, 12/256, it is very fast and very beautiful. It will create many passionate fans for Motorola. Top choice for people who respect their money.
Former owner of Samsung 5G at the same price. I have to say that apart from the photos which are not as capable as the Samsung, it is much faster with almost double battery life. If I had known, I would have gone straight here. Very satisfied
I bought it completely unplanned in July '24 because the TCL (which was excellent) decided to say goodbye to me.. The purchase was somewhat rushed due to the suddenness and the fact that I was in the countryside. (I should also mention that I ordered it through Skroutz on Sunday and had it by Tuesday) In these 3 months, I have to say that: the battery, although it is 5000mAh, definitely lasts 1 day (with normal use of social media, videos, calls, etc.) so it requires regular charging or you should have a charging cable on standby at the office or a power bank for psychological reasons mainly. Its responsiveness is very good, as is the fingerprint scanner which is immediate. The brightness is quite good even in bright sunlight. As for the photos, I have to say they are decent. Yes, you can get the job done (not professionally..) but you think they could be better. Thank goodness for Google Photos. The capacity at 256GB is more than sufficient, as is the 12GB RAM. As for the color Viva Magenta, it is indeed impressive and has a somewhat textured finish. In conclusion... If you find it for up to €200, buy it immediately. At €230, think about it a bit. Over €250, prefer something else
I like the hardware, the screen, the build quality, and the reliability of the company that is trying to revive itself. The phone doesn’t lag (I have the version with 12GB if that matters). The camera is average for its category; there are definitely better ones, but at the 200 I bought it for, I don’t care at all. On the positive side, it has a nearly clean Android operating system that received version 14. It has two or three Motorola apps that are useful for UI customization. The battery is very good; it easily lasts a day, and in the month I’ve had it, it might even improve. So far, it gives me an average of 10 hours of screen-on time. Fast charging at 33W gets it to 100% in an hour. The charger was included in the package. Now, let's talk about the negatives. The phone heats up quite a bit, but with two asterisks. First, I have a case, and second, it only heats up during gaming. Then there’s the most annoying thing that has happened to me while I’ve owned it. Notifications for Viber and Messenger don’t come through! We’re talking about a major failure. You have to enter the app to see the messages. This also happened before on a device I had with pure Android. I don’t know if that plays a role. The issue hasn’t been resolved even after 4-5 updates. Another negative is the sensitivity of the phone's screen when you have it to your ear and are talking, resulting in various things being pressed. Finally, the limited variety of cases and screen protectors might pose a problem in two or three years. Of course, for 200 euros, you get a great phone; I’m not debating that despite all the negatives I found. At this price, up to 250 euros, there is no competitor, and it even compares with more expensive models, of course. The one star deducted is definitely for the notifications, which I hope some good Christian, Muslim, etc., will hear and fix.

Nice phone for its price, but it's not as amazing as I read in other reviews. The quality of its materials is a bit second-rate, but for this money, you don't expect anything different. The Bluetooth has some issues and has very low sound volume on BT speakers and BT headphones. A quick search on Google confirmed that many have the same problem, if not everyone. I've had the phone for 3 months now and after 4 updates, the problem hasn't been fixed yet; I hope it gets resolved later. Also, it doesn't have proper cooling and heats up relatively easily in the summer when running a "heavy" application. Other than that, I have no complaints; it works as it should so far. It's a very good choice for this money (€220), but if someone can spend €100 more, there are much better products from Samsung and One Plus.
Also, and this is very important to some, there is an issue with the notifications of apps like Viber, messenger etc. They almost never pop up unless I open the app by myself to check. It is becoming really annoying and the fact that it is not fixed yet by an update is beyond me.
The phone is the best for the money it costs.
Positives:
-Very good screen, the resolution is amazing and the image quality is on par with much more expensive devices.
-The feel in hand is comfortable. It is thinner than the Note 13 Pro I had before (I changed it because of HyperOS).
-Awesome stereo sound and loud without distortion.
-The battery lasts quite a while, easily a day with heavy use. It charges satisfactorily but could be faster.
-Call quality is excellent. No issues with either the earpiece or the speaker.
-Fast considering the Snapdragon 695 inside. With social media, gaming, and browsing it's lightning quick. And the menu has no lag either.
-The back is vegan leather and it really reminded me of the LG G4 days and moved me. Very nice feel with reservations about how clean it will be in a year if it holds dirt.
Negatives:
-The camera is frankly mediocre. I won't comment on the video... it could be better. I won't even comment on the second camera.
-33 watt charging is somewhat slow. That is, you don't have the flexibility for a quick 10-minute charge to get you through the evening. Although the battery lasts, so it's a minor issue.
-And the selfie camera is the same, maybe even worse.
Buy it without hesitation. It's for people who don't take photos and videos all the time and just want a cheap, fast, and reliable device.

I've had the phone for a week.
My previous phones were Samsung in this price range and earlier a Xiaomi Note 5.
The main reasons for purchasing it are the 3.5mm audio jack and the FM radio it has.
As consumers, I don't know if we should tolerate the exploitation that all companies have been pushing on us lately.
A). We have to spend double the money to get Bluetooth headphones to achieve the same sound quality.
B). They are removing services that are offered for free (FM, DAB).
The usage I have on the phone includes a lot of time on calls, SMS, Viber, and constantly in the background Outlook for corporate emails, and Life360 to see my kids.
Also, a lot of music and about 2 hours a week on YouTube.
I don't have social media, I don't play games. Screen time is about 2 hours a day.
With the usage I described, the battery lasts 4 days, while the phones I mentioned above lasted about the same.
EDIT: The previous phones I mentioned above in the hands of my wife and daughter, who use them heavily for social media, videos, browsing, etc., lasted 1 to 2 days. So the Motorola will last about the same.. Don't worry, it's not an iPhone.
The phone is as fast as a Samsung A34, it doesn't lag anywhere.
The call quality is the best I've ever encountered.
You hear and they hear you very clearly.
I miss the aesthetics of the UI of Samsung or LG that I had before. The difference is in the widgets and notifications where the Motorola is inferior. It took me a little time to customize it to my liking.
With this memory (12G/256G), it wouldn't hurt at all to have some well-thought-out apps from the company that are currently missing. Instead, we resort to the Play Store and get bombarded with ads.
It loses 1 star for the sound quality in music with 3.5mm headphones of all price categories (from 10 to 100 Euros).
The bass, very high frequencies, and details in the music are lacking. It's not that bad, but anyone can detect the difference.
For the record, the best sound from the devices that have passed through my hands was from the LG K10.
Also, the built-in amplifier for the headphones distorts at maximum volume, and you have to listen 1 click down.
EDIT: The distortion issue was resolved. It was the music player I had installed.
The sound quality does not improve even with an external Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, which improved the sound on other phones.
If my priority wasn't music, I would easily give it 5 stars.
It's worth the money, considering that the package includes a case, a 33W charger, and a cable.
Tip: If you have trouble finding a screen protector, the Spigen for Samsung A33 fits PERFECTLY!!
I have been using the phone for a few days, so these are my initial impressions. As soon as I opened it, it received several security updates as well as the update to Android 14 from the 13 that was installed on it, and also that the Android is clean with minimal unnecessary apps. It's a relatively fast phone with a lot of storage space and plenty of RAM, although I think the G73 is faster, which has less RAM and is cheaper, but it has a better processor, the Dimensity 930. The display is very good with nice colors. Now, regarding the processor, Motorola could have put one of the new Mediatek Dimensity chips, like the 930 as in the G73, instead of this old 3-year-old Snapdragon; for me, that's a flaw. Another flaw is in software updates, since apart from Android 14, it won't receive any more because Motorola (Lenovo) only provides one software update and 3 years of security updates from the date the phone is released, and then completely abandons it. The battery is average, lasting 2 days with normal use. The camera is quite good for photos, but it loses a lot in video. Finally, I must say that in terms of sound, the phone excels; its stereo speakers have an incredibly clear and powerful sound. Also, I shouldn't forget that Motorola has issues with the hotspot, but it's not a phone issue; you have to call your provider to tell you what settings to make, and then it works perfectly. I should also mention that I had no issues at all with Viber or WhatsApp. Overall, so far my conclusion is that the phone is worth buying for someone who doesn't have HIGH demands, hence the 4 stars, especially at the starting price of 215; of course, it would be among the top if its price were below 200, but unfortunately, it isn't. I got it for 225. Just a note about the red color; it requires attention because as nice as it is, if it gets scratched, the color will definitely show. Personally, I regret getting it in red; I should have chosen the midnight blue, but now it's too late to change it since I opened it.
UPDATE 11/09/2024: I'm adding to my review regarding some comments I read about the video. Guys, it's a phone and also budget-friendly; anyone who wants perfect video and photos should buy a good camera and be fine. I understand the dissatisfaction from some, and I said it too that it was a flaw that Lenovo put the Snapdragon; it would have been better to use a Dimensity, but unfortunately, they went with this one. For the money, what the phone offers is fine; if you want 4K video, you go for another phone and for more money, of course. Lastly, I read that Lenovo will eventually give it Android 15; we'll see

Good and fast for simple use. Average photos, bad video with a lot of noise even during the day. Good screen, good battery life. Regarding the issue with viber, disable battery management from the phone and in the app go to settings and choose wifi always active.
Owner of this mobile for over a month, I have to say that for the use I make of it I am absolutely satisfied. Positively the battery life that with my use reaches 4+ days, I am not burning on the internet. The clarity of the image, the very good photos during the day, the good headset and the strong and clear call sound. It also charges in 1.2 hours from 0 to 100. Another positive is that it has clean android without unnecessary applications. On the negative side now, the absence of GORILLA GLASS or something similar. Also negative but not of the mobile but of those who bring cases and glasses that have a long waiting time when you want a more economical case.
The best value for money, excellent screen resolution and battery. It lacks a bit in the camera but it's fine for a simple user.
After almost 4 and a half months of use, I think it's time for me to write my review:
The phone is really good and worth the money (I paid around €195, but I bought it from a store outside of Skroutz).
Positives:
- The battery lasts around one and a half days with moderate use (sometimes it can even reach two days if, for example, I don't play games or use GPS).
- It charges very quickly.
- The camera is very good for photos (okay, it's not like the iPhone or some Samsung phones, but personally, I find it very good, even for low-light photos).
- The speed is very fast and it has never lagged for me.
- It has dual speakers and the sound is great (both when talking on the phone and with multimedia).
- The brightness is very high in sunlight, so even with a lot of sunlight, you can see the screen clearly.
- It doesn't have pre-installed system apps that take up unnecessary space.
- It doesn't overheat in general, even when playing games (which is probably the heaviest use I've given it).
Negatives:
- The 60fps mode of the video camera (which is the best mode) sometimes doesn't work simultaneously with power saving mode (I don't know how or if this can be fixed, other than restarting the device).
- If you turn off the phone, the alarm doesn't go off (unlike the Xiaomi Redmi 9C I had before getting this phone).
- The videos it takes are nice, but I expected them to be a little better (considering that it takes very good photos).
- It doesn't have a pre-installed notepad.
- In Viber, it doesn't show me a preview of the message and the sender (and I don't know if this is an issue with the application, because I have chosen to show the preview, so I leave it with a question mark).
- It's not easy to find cases and screen protectors (but that's because Motorola is not very popular in Greece).
In conclusion, I believe it's generally worth it as a phone (at least for someone who doesn't have heavy usage, I would say) and the negatives I have noticed and mentioned are not of great importance - that's why I give it 5 stars. If I notice any other negatives along the way, there will be an update.

It cannot play 4k videos and of course it cannot record them due to the snapdragon processor....so if you upload videos from the gopro and it doesn't play them. Disappointment because even the 4-year-old moto g8 played them....shame

Incredibly affordable for its price. Coming from a Samsung m53, I was hesitant about the Motorola, but it's a pistol. Fast - it doesn't lag or freeze, and it's worth every penny!
Very good for its price. The Hotspot works fine, without any issues. Battery is great! Photos are good. Fast.
Coming from Motorola edge 30 neo which unfortunately broke the screen, it endured many falls I didn't expect. (130€ for replacement) I was torn between the 30neo and the moto g84. Their differences are weight, size, battery, camera MP (more on the 30neo), ram (2 more on the g84), charger (33w for g84, 68w for g30 neo) The g84 silicone case protects the entire phone perimeter unlike the 30neo case (you will need to buy a case, don't make the mistake like me) which is hard plastic and leaves the top and bottom unprotected, and the headphone jack that the g84 has, and the 30neo has a notification LED on the back near the cameras.. everything else is the same processor, screen resolution, etc.
In the end, I chose the g84 because of the capacity and battery life, which can last up to 2 days.
If you want better photos, choose the edge 30 neo.

Personally, I want a fast phone that doesn't lag, the processor or WiFi doesn't freeze, and doesn't break with the first fall, something that Motorola offers me.

The weight of the moto g84 is 173g and with the Motorola case it reaches 193g.
Strength to everyone
(I would choose the 30neo again but I didn't find any "reliable" store to order it)
After two weeks of use, the phone is worth the money. It received the Android 14 update and installed without any problems. It has very good response to all applications used for work and social media with minimal engagement in games. The photos and videos are very good. Calls are very clear and the 5G is very good where available. With reasonable use, the battery easily lasts 2 days and charges quickly. With previous experience on moto g and xiaomi mi a1, devices that had pure android, this phone continues in the same logic and does a great job.
The money is worth it and more. It is very fast, it doesn't freeze, it doesn't heat up during use or charging. Its camera is very good, you can hear and be heard perfectly during calls. The battery, with heavy usage of social media, calls, games, and video calls, lasts for 1 1/2 days for sure, 2 days at most. It loses one star because the speaker is slightly inferior compared to other phones I had before.
Okay, it's unbelievable. I got it as a second one, okay, normal in everything but what left me speechless and deserves a 5-star rating is the battery life. As much as you may not believe it, I charge it every 3 days with 6-7 hours of daily continuous use without games and constantly on WiFi. I think there is no better battery life and its Android is clean and pure without any complications
Five stars worth only for the battery: with normal use (no games, no videos, no music), it lasts me three (3) days. Good screen, light android (few additional apps that bothered me on other phones), quality device feel. Now sold for less than 250€, I think it's top at this price level. Photos are satisfactory, if you're looking for something super, look elsewhere.
It does not have certain basic applications and the camera is not very satisfactory, however the battery lasts a long time, the screen is convenient, and its functions are fast.
