The Kullhaus alpha Q20L Pro dehumidifier is possibly the MOST QUIET 20-liter DEHUMIDIFIER. It's not just the low noise levels of the compressor. Equally important is the top quality of the plastic parts and the sturdy construction of the dehumidifier that eliminate any annoying creaking or resonance of the plastics during the operation of the device.
Kullhaus has incorporated noise reduction technologies, such as compressor insulation, vibration-absorbing materials, and silent fan blades.

The main disadvantage is the noise, not only can you hear the compressor, which is normal to some extent because there is no silent motor {despite being advertised as silent}, but it also generates a noise that is unbearable in the same room. I took it to the dealership for inspection in the first few days and they told me everything was fine, that's how it sounds. Disappointment, it's not worth the 215 euros at all. I have been a customer of Sani Hellas products for years due to trust in their products, but this was the worst and the last one.
Excellent build quality, finish, aesthetics. No resemblance to models that resemble an ugly refrigerator from 1970 :-)
Small water tank, yes, but sufficient for homes without excessive humidity levels. With its minimal consumption, you can leave it running 24/7. In night mode, it is practically silent at night (unless you have it next to the bed).
I have years of experience with many well-known dehumidifier models, all zeolite-based. This one is the first with a compressor, and the difference in the bill is chaotic. It consumes 1/3 to 1/4 of the previous models (under similar conditions) that I still use in other properties.
For relatively small apartments with reasonable temperatures (above 16 degrees Celsius), I highly recommend it.
The only disadvantage I found (I already have two dehumidifiers) is the capacity of the container, so using an external container is the only option (it fills up in half a day) and I also have distilled water for the steam iron.
Unbelievable dehumidifier compared to other highly advertised ones I have seen in the homes of acquaintances. Not that the others don't do their job, but here we are talking about a different category. In a 100 square meter house with wooden frames and humidity mainly during rainy periods, it took 1 day and something working at full capacity to go from 67% to 48%. Now, when it turns on, only the fan works to check the humidity. If it goes above 50, the compressor will start working again. Very easy to use, very well built, and everything can be done through the app. For drying clothes overnight, a large clothes rack had dried by morning. Now, as for the noise, I have it in the hallway and I only hear a breeze (because nothing else can be heard) on the large staircase. 249 on Black Friday for such a machine, I would say it's great. Extremely satisfied. Anyone thinking of a 20-liter dehumidifier for a fairly large space should consider this one. Update: After the recent rainfall, where I used to turn on the air conditioners to reduce humidity, now the tank only filled once and the humidity is gone. You can feel it in your home. Regarding the Ionizer, it quickly removes food odors. Also, because I have an African grey parrot and it releases powder into the air, now I collect it from the filter with the vacuum cleaner. Finally, the Tuya app works flawlessly. It even finds other smart devices in the house that may work with the app. What else can I write, I don't know. Just an incredible dehumidifier. It does everything you need from it and excellently. Highly recommended without hesitation.

My opinion after 4 days of testing in an 80sqm house, but used only for the first three rooms with closed doors, with the rest of the rooms not directly connected. I have placed it in the hallway with an old iron door that is not insulated, to send air to the living room and dining room (which are not a unified space, one reason why I chose such a powerful dehumidifier, and for a second reason, non-insulated walls with a lot of humidity and mold odor).
1. Simple design, sturdy plastic, touch buttons, just touch them to activate.
2. I am currently operating it without heating at 16°C and with 54% humidity, it reduced to 45% in about 4 hours. And in the previous days at 19°C from the afternoon until the next morning, I emptied 2.5 liters (out of a 4.5-liter tank). The humidity meter of the dehumidifier is accurate compared to my digital room meter. (When you turn on the dehumidifier, the number is inaccurate, it takes time to show the correct measurement, when it measures correctly, the dehumidification will start)
3. Drying clothes in the bathroom, 2.5x1.5 with a closed door, half and a little more load, in a 10 kg drum, it pulled out 2 liters of water in 6 hours. However, they were not completely dry because the drying rack is small above the bathtub and the clothes did not have space between them for proper air circulation. In a small room with closed doors and two drying racks, it will do a very good job.
4. Separate air purification without dehumidification, with ionization and UV lamp, with one of the two or none of the two. Mesh filter for visible dust and a filter with Hepa 13 on one side and activated carbon on the other (not charcoal) for the invisible dust particles and the odor of the space. I feel better now when I come in from outside, when I have left it open when leaving. The filter as a replacement for long-term use throughout the year costs around 35€. If you don't use it for a long time, it may need to be replaced in two years. However, we clean the filters frequently with a vacuum cleaner to prevent clogging and reduce the performance of the dehumidifier. (applies to all devices with HEPA filters)
5. Dehumidifier Pause Timer - 24-hour setting. If you want to activate the dehumidifier at a time when you will be away from home, easy management with Wifi, just connect it to your mobile phone and have active data. To activate the device with mobile data, you need the corresponding option in the settings of the TUYA application.
6. 2 fan speed levels. Measurement with a mobile application, 40-44 dB is at a distance of 2 to 3 meters from the dehumidifier. Personally, at night, the low-speed level doesn't bother me, I would say it lulls me to sleep (and I don't keep it in my pocket during sleep). Don't forget, it's a dehumidifier for 130 sqm, not for a single room but for large unified spaces.
7. Manual humidity adjustment 35%-80%, Smart mode 55% to 60%. Adjustable air vent. Easy connection with Wifi, it serves to not have to get up from the couch and also to activate/deactivate the other functions when you are away from home.
Personally, I find it an amazing dehumidifier for the demanding needs of my old house (1963), I can only imagine what it would do in a well-insulated house! And for what it offers, it is flawless. It does have one negative aspect... there is no storage space for the cable.
The dealership is located in Nea Chalkidona, Attica. And some photos and a video might help in your selection. For more knowledge about the product, download the user manual (that's what I did, it helped me in my selection as I was looking at another one that I eventually rejected. A visit to the dealership (if you have access and time) that has them on display and you will be able to see them in operation also helps. I wish you happy holidays.
17/12/23. I noticed: 1/ Proposal for emptying the water, there is no need to open the lid every time because I found out that the clips of the lid are sensitive and with opening and closing over time they may break and it empties just fine with the lid closed. With caution and without applying too much pressure, the drum will be kept in good condition for the end of the season cleaning.
2/ The carbon filter does a very good job with odors, I noticed it strongly when I forgot to close the eye that I was heating food (I turned it into charcoal) and the whole house smelled. In the rooms where I later used it for dehumidification, the space cleared up, while the rooms that do not communicate with the dehumidifier with the door closed still smelled. Even better results with ionization.
At the price we got it (offer 249€), I couldn't find another one with these features. Plus, the company, as far as I researched, only makes dehumidifiers. Overall, it seems like a good and quality product, it does an amazing job with drying (the main reason we wanted it for winter) and using it on automatic, in less than a week it has lowered the humidity and noticeably changed the atmosphere in the room in every aspect (humidity, air quality (very important during periods of circulating infections), temperature +1 degree, etc).
Finally, it's very positive that it has low consumption (245W while there are others with the same features at +600W which means multiple consumption). Hopefully, it will prove to be good in terms of durability.
