Guys, give 50 euros more to get something else. In terms of image and sound, things are relatively satisfactory considering the price of the TV. The menu is terrible, the TV, while it seems to respond quickly to the remote control, freezes in applications like YouTube and Netflix. It doesn't let me log in to my YouTube account because as soon as I press the login button, it throws me back to the main menu. From what I read in the reviews, I'm not the only one, so it's defective. If it didn't have these glitches, it would be a decent choice. What a shame!
Be careful with TVs that claim to be android. Because it said android, I assumed it would have Google apps like on mobile phones. However, it has its own menu with specific apps. I also tried to stream on Twitch and no channel plays. It has good image quality, but the smart feature is very bright and the brightness cannot be adjusted. Additionally, it has screw holes only on the top part, and even though it is designed to have screws on the bottom, it only has holes without threading. The remote control is completely uncomfortable. Luckily, it has Chrome and you can watch movies from there, but in order to use it without being bothered by the remote control, you have to connect a mouse.
First of all, do not buy from Praktiker, they don't even know who is responsible for technical support. The 40-inch TV does not have audio output, it only has optical audio input to connect with speakers, and even if you connect it, it doesn't mean it will work on applications like Disney and Netflix. On Netflix, I noticed that some movies have sound when connected to the speaker, while others don't, obviously because the movie doesn't support it. It freezes when you try to open applications and the image quality is very poor. No, I do not recommend buying it because it lacks technical support and no one knows what it supports in terms of sound.
Unfortunately, I fell for it because of the good reviews. The television is unacceptable. It doesn't even play YouTube Premium and Netflix is terrible. Don't get it as a smart TV
Cheap with 3 years warranty, with really low power consumption at (40 watts), we can watch movies and it has a very good image resolution. It is not an Android TV, but it is flexible like a tablet, running on Android 11 and has a plethora of applications
I bought it with low expectations for the bedroom and it turned out to be a hundred pounds. Its picture is no less impressive than the 65 4K Samsung I have in the living room, in fact, I can say that this Dahua performs better in black. Very clear and vibrant colors (with the appropriate settings) that are noticeable in high-resolution and high-bitrate files. The sound is sufficient for its price, not outstanding but it gets the job done, I use the movie + surround function. The only flaw I encountered is in the software where for some reason it does not retain the option to disable channel subtitles. So every time I change channels and there is a program with subtitles, I have to disable them. Also, I don't see the ability to arrange the channels in the desired order. As for the smart function, Netflix, etc., I haven't dealt with it because I watch movies from a disk and use the Xiaomi 2nd gen TV box with Kodi due to better support for image and sound codecs. However, the Kodi I tried ran and played movies from a flash drive and disk normally (only up to full HD resolution, it doesn't downscale 4K videos, it rejects them completely), its WiFi works flawlessly, and the menu doesn't freeze while channels change immediately without any freezing, unlike other TVs. Its design is very elegant and almost frameless. The remote control looks fake and cheap. In conclusion, I believe it is the best purchase for the money for someone who wants to have a decent picture in their bedroom and why not in their living room, where you find similar ones in TVs that cost twice or three times as much. How long it will last will be shown over time. However, it does come with a 3-year warranty, which is a great advantage compared to the competition. If Dahua continues like this, I believe it will capture a large market share in the coming years.
+ Picture, sound, 3-year warranty, value for money

Update 26/01/24: The TV continues to work flawlessly (purchased for 180 euros). However, if you choose it for its smart function with the intention of using YouTube, Netflix, etc., forget about it. Although YouTube works, it does not allow you to sign in to your account. Personally, I use the Xiaomi TV box for this purpose and I'm not interested in the smart function of the TV. My evaluation is solely based on its function as a source of image and sound.
