  I bought this cream at the beginning of September and it lasted until mid-December with quite frequent use. It is the only cream that helped me with the gum issue I had mainly on my cheeks, which was quite intense and wouldn't go away no matter what, while I had tried other products. I saw a change for the better very soon after I started using it, which made me very happy. It is quite a strong cream and requires caution with the combinations that can be made with soaps because if the skin is sensitive, it can burn a lot. I used it all over my face and the only discomfort it caused me, which was rare, was under the eyes, so I just avoided that area. I would definitely buy it again.

  I have redness and marks, and at a specific spot, I was constantly getting pimples. I have been using it for about 2.5 weeks and I have seen a huge difference.

  This particular cream requires quite a bit of study before you use it. There are two versions of it: the American one, which is for the local treatment of a pimple, and the European one, which can be used all over the face. We only have access to the European one, so there is no fear. Also, it is not moisturizing. Its purpose is not to hydrate, but to reduce imperfections, pimples, scars that have resulted from acne. You can use it either in the morning or at night, but always with sunscreen. In combination with double cleansing, it yields great results and you see a significant difference. I read somewhere that it can also be used on teenagers aged 12-13+

  Really one of the worst creams I have bought. I have sensitive skin and generally many products cause some kind of allergy or irritation. With this cream, however, I don't see any redness or pimples but it has a terrible burning sensation, it is very heavy and the best part... It doesn't come off at all. I washed my face, washed it again, finally cleaned it with soap and still felt the burning. It was recommended to me by a dermatologist, like most of the awful products I have tried, for oily skin that recently had acne. Overall, I consider La Roche to be a very mediocre company, I don't understand the hype.

  I had not tried the old effaclar, but as soon as I tried this cream, the next day it already seemed that the acne marks had faded and my skin was well hydrated. I couldn't believe it. I will buy it again and again!
  A few words about my skin: I finished a treatment with isotretinoin 5 months ago and I no longer have active acne. But this cream definitely helps prevent it from reappearing.

  This new formula is in no way the same as the previous one, as many saleswomen in different stores claim. Yes, I can hear it in terms of texture, but that's about it.

  While it is targeted for acne-prone skin, it leaves the skin oily and shiny, something that the duo plus did not do and has often resulted in breakouts.

  Maybe it works as a spot treatment, but it's something I'll have to test.

  Anyway, as others have said, it's a shame because just when you find a good moisturizer that does the job, you have to find another one.
